Are the Charlotte Hornets capable of winning the East?

Post#1 » by 316Hornets » Thu Jun 28, 2018 10:58 pm

Assuming LeBron goes West, Hayward doesn't come back at the same level, and Philly goes through growing pains.

All of sudden, Charlotte, who has remained dormant has quietly been collecting assets.

Coach Cliff never showed much and all are aware of Dwight. Without those 2 and an East that is wide open, why can't a team that was tied for third in the East 3 years ago, regain that ground and take control?

New GM: Mitch Kupchak

Traded away locker room killer D12.

Veterans MKG, Marvin Williams, Nic Batum, Cody Zeller

This team has played together for awhile. If they get going, people will be surprised.

If Hayward doesn’t come back at the same level? No way. Not w Tatum/Brown gaining more experience and stepping into that role again

Hoopsmalone's burner account.

And on a real note. Even if Hayward decides in Sept to retire from basketball, the Celtics will win so many more games than the Hornets regardless.

Man questions like this are not helping our cause. Let's just be quiet and try to make the playoffs and take it from there.

Kyrie and Hayward can be out for the year and the Celtics will still be significantly better than the hornets

It can happen. Personally I don't think it will though. And I root for the Hornets since they have two former Uconn players.

No. Philly, Celtics, Toronto, Milwaukee, Washington just to name a few are better. Isn't Kemba basically as good as gone too? I thought they were tearing it down.

This is embarrassing.
