Literally 40% of the time I can’t post because I get reroutes to an amazon gift thing or a lottery wheel.

The pop ups on the phone interface are worse than anything.
I’d almost stop posting here and I’m a mod for f’ssake

I have the same issue.

I downloaded an add pop up blocker on my phone. It seems to have worked so far. Not that it should be a permanent fix, but could help in the meantime.

Same here. Used to happen every now and then and I could hit back browser and be fine. Now I can't browse for more than 2 clicks without getting directed to that d*mn fake Amazon thing. Tried the mobile app and, while not getting hijacked, I just can't get accustomed to it.

No... you didn't "fix the problem". You "masked" the problem.

After many days of investigating, we were able to identify the source of the mobile redirect and it has been eliminated. We have also taken a number of measures to prevent this from recurring in the future, most notably adding a piece of technology that prevents these types of malicious ads from serving in the first place.

We're confident that we will be able to prevent these situations from happening again.

In terms of the types of advertising we accept, we're extremely conservative and value your experience to use RealGM without annoying ads, suggestive ads, audio ads and certainly these types of redirects above all other considerations.

Please continue to inform us whenever you receive an ad that doesn't meet those standards because they are not authorized and we want them off the site as quickly as you do.

We sincerely apologize for how this has impacted all of you over the past few days.
