Looks like Ingram is going to San Antonio for Kawhi per Woj, unless the Celtics offer a better package

Two years from now the Spurs will have turned Ingram into a NBA superstar. I'll be happy for him if ends up being traded there.

If the Spurs somehow get Ingram, a future 1st plus something else for a player who may or may not be hurt who does not want to play for them anymore on a 1-year deal, then Pop is a freakin witch and I hope Borrego stole some of that magic.

Kawhi is top 5 dude. Ingram hopes to be top 20.

Kawhi was a top 5 dude. He was out all year with a knee injury, and might never be the same, we just don't know. And he wants out, won't re-sign in SA, and somehow, POP managed to get the leverage somehow.

Lol he could've played all year. The Spurs wanted him to go but his 'camp' advised him not to. This has been planned and he had no reason to help the Spurs last season. He is 100 percent.

Agreed. Weeeell, maybe a Ball+Kuzma? Am I too high on Kuz?

I don't see the Lakers offering that, no chance. If they're offering us both, I think we probably have to

Maybe. But he still wants to leave, and SA should have no leverage.

And you gotta wonder why, if he was 100% healthy, why he didn't want to play in the freakin playoffs. It's not the Bobcats.

Spurs were a damn good team without Kawhi. Add Ingram who is on the verge of becoming special and a first for a player who doesnt want to be there you have to do it

I don't really like him at all. If we can get rid of Marv/MKG and add in Bender I'm a little more intrigued...

Kemba, Marv and MKG for Jackson, Bender, Warren and Knight works...

I haven't taken the time to think about it much...thoughts?

I haven't put a lot of thought in this,

Suns get: Kemba, Batum

Hornets get: Jackson, Bender, Dudley, Chandler, 2019 first with top 5 protection through 2021 and then turns to 2 seconds

Note: I may include Marvin for Knight as they are looking for a stretch PF, and we would need a body to play pg

2 prospects, though Bender needs work, a future first and cap relief next offseason with Chandler and Dudley expiring

For some reason I was reading the Suns reddit last night and their fans freaked out when Zach Lowe just mentioned the possibility of trading Jackson for Kemba. It's normal that all fanbases overrate their own players, we do it too. But it's crazy to me, I'm yet to stumble across any fanbase that really truly wants Kemba. He's so, so underrated and any team should be thrilled to have him.

After Borrego's comments yesterday it sounds like we plan on keeping Kemba around for the long haul, and that's perfectly fine with me. I really don't see Phoenix being players for Kemba, for them it really doesn't make sense to give up one of your young assets for what could be a 1-year rental.

I really am like 95% at this point that Kemba isn't going anywhere this summer. If he does though, I'm thinking Philadelphia and Lakers are the only two that seems like it could work.

It really is baffling how underrated he is. I guess its a combo of an undersized player who came into the league a completely different player than he is now who toils away on a team no one gives a crap about.

Seems like we are asking for a lot in this deal considering he could be a 1 year rental.

I think Kemba for Josh Jackson is a good starting point. We could dump a little salary and maybe pick up a few more assets like Chriss or seconds.

Call me crazy, but with our team makeup I'd want Bender over Jackson. He's perfect for the scheme Borrego wants to implement.

Monk-Jackson-Bridges is a decent rebuild and a top 5 pick next year
