The replay will no doubt be online soon.

The entire thing could be summed up in the phrase, "hard work." That was said constantly. Danny, Brad, and others have already got this drilled into Robert's head.

Good luck, Robert!

Sounds like they (including Horford) really drilled the hard work message into him over the last week. Doesn't sound as if he saw any of the C"s playoffs run.

Danny's joke about the press arriving late fell flat, but you can see him playing something of the good cop in his corner compared to Brad calling him out on the late phone presser. Danny also plugged on the motor question, saying you don't win Defensive Player of the Year twice in that conference without having a pretty good motor.

And while Danny talked down the #13 Kelly Olynyk's potential in his opening presser, after having moved up for him, Danny gave Robert not just the "special", but the "very special" blessing as to his potential.

Can't wait to see him in SL, but I wonder if he realizes that showing up in James Young's 'do might not be the best association he could make for the team.

Seems like he’s got his head screwed on straight and has bought into the culture. If he does that we have a monster on our hands. Can’t wait to see him in action

Hopefully Williams can live up to the legacy of the last guy who wore this jersey number.

Probably not. After all, Tyler Zeller did set the bar impossibly high!

State your name and affiliation before you ask a questions, please-->> Wyc:"Wyc Grousbeck, Boston Celtics, Brad what did you see in Robert?". Yo .. :D
Good assessment:

I think Robert Williams can immediately help as a rookie if he gets any playing time (which will be hard). He is NBA ready physically like Smart, Brown. and Semi were as rookies. His majo skills that made him a projected late lotto pick - running, rebounding, shot blocking, catching lobs for dunks - should immediately translate. If they don’t, he’s probably a bust. His potential character issues seem real after conference call fiasco but they probably matter more with his long term development than his potential immediate impact. He may look invisible in summer league because his game will depend so much on others feeding him. However, I’d really love to see a lot of garbage put backs, rebounds and disruptive defense. Unlike guys like Tatum and Brown, it may not be obvious how good he could be until he gets to play with shooters and playmakers in training camp.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."
