Also, he went on twitter to say that Crosby would've been right around his average if McCarthy hadn't made him try a 57 yard field goal in Pittsburgh.

He also said he has a weak leg which is pretty ridiculous for a punter who routinely gets over 5 seconds of hang time.

Interesting.
Scott was Alabama’s four-year starting punter. A first-team All-American as a freshman, he left as the school’s career leader with a 45.6-yard average. Heading into his senior season, Alabama incorporated the Packers’ punting philosophy of sacrificing distance for hang time and placement. The result was remarkable. While his season average was 43.0 yards, his net average was 42.3. Only five of his 54 punts were returned.
Interesting.

The andrew luck of punters and I say this in terms of being such a can't miss prospect at his position. He could surpass shane lechler in terms of punting legacy in the modern time if all goes right.

Every yard matters and every advantage is important. I'm surprised that more teams haven't realized that sacrificing distance for hang time and placement is generally a better strategy.
