La won't make the playoffs at that rate. Their young guys are massively overrated. If they were in OKC they would get no attention.
Can't wait for LeDeng to finish 11th seed in the West.

Get Faired in exchange for 2 1st round picks 4-5 years from now unprotected. They're in cap hell now with Barton, and Jokic going to be signing.
Nuggets would be full-blown insane to do that. Faried expires this year, and they don't need to clear room to sign their own players.
Nuggets luxury tax bill - if Capulator is correct after signing Barton and soon to be Porter is 44m. If they trade Wilson Chandler for nothing to the Suns, that bill is just $10m - Suns would get a first round pick. Suns need a stretch four -- take the first and Wilson Chandler, have two Chandlers - is one option. Or my other trade - which actually helps the Nuggets even more and I like him more - Millsap and a first for Chandler and Daniels. Millsap can be your stretch and he is not guaranteed next year. How much is $35m to the Nuggets owner worth?

Ariza is at the end of his career this year is his last chance to get a long term contract no way he agrees to play for us for just a year.

I can see one first being added but not two. I'd do it and then you have Chandler, Millsap and Dudley all on expirings with a Denver and Bucks firsts plus all our own firsts. Could be very active at the deadline.

Re: Trade and free agency speculation
what happened to that cap bypassing scheme when a team signs a player for 1 million for a 1 year then give him a max contract the following year?

Ariza on a shorter over pay and sign Beverly - teammates from the Rockets back together

It doesn't work, you don't have bird rights on a guy after signing him to a 1 yr deal. Example this year is evans with Memphis, they can only go up to the mle to resign him.SuperSunsFan wrote:what happened to that cap bypassing scheme when a team signs a player for 1 million for a 1 year then give him a max contract the following year?

Re: Trade and free agency speculation
If Bradley does stay with the Clippers - might as well call and ask about Beverly and if Ariza is the pick, Van Vleet seems like not an option

Bradley would be nice. Not sure Ariza fits this team.
