Do you lie the Ariza signing?

Hate it! Not a PF, we already have too many wings and we blew our load on him?

Suns sign Trevor Ariza ~ 1 year $15 million.

Why, is the first word that comes to mind? These are minutes that young wings should get. Once again McD makes a ridiculous move in free agency. Time to cut him loose.

Everybody has their reasons why things are the way they think they are.

We had cap space. We hurt a rival. We are building a reputation as a team willing to spend. We are improving. I’m good with it

Why? Because we want to win games instead of handing minutes to Bender and Chriss?

These minutes should go to Bridges. This is a huge, short sighted, waste of money that now keeps them from being involved in other moves.

A treadmill move would have been signing an average role player like Van Fleet/Bradley to a multiyear deal.

Bridges’s development is not going to be hurt by playing 22mpg instead of 29mpg. Even the best rookies are below average players when compared to veterans.

Should be kept in mind this very well could end up being a 55 game deal where he gets dealt to a contender for a useless guy on and expiring and an asset.

Or ya know, Bridges can actually earn his PT unlike the rookies before him? Shortsighted would've been a 3yr deal, 1 year deal where 2 guys critical to this teams future can learn from a good defensive F who has been to the playoffs is not a bad thing.

I guess we could've shelled out stupid money for Torontos back up PG instead huh? :noway:

So is this...all it will accomplish is that it will ensure a worse pick next year and restrict the versatility for moves in the mean time. This is a GM doing all the self serving moves possible to get another contract for himself...just like the Bridges move was. He needs the Suns to look good now...not in a few years.

You clearly don't get my point. "Earn his PT"...what a simple minded thing to say that has nothing to do with a GM move. No you don't make stupid moves that bring in average meaningless players...you build aiming at a championship and sign the stars to get you there. The Suns do not need another wing...he is redundant and counter productive to success.

I also don't buy the "learn from the vet" thing as anything more than a tiny bonus...there are tons of people you can hire for this that don't cost ANY cap space.

You are pathetic for making this type of comment. I was a Suns fan way, way before you were and way, way before there were Raptors. What a sad way to think...you must be a very insecure person.

Both the Suns and Raptors are treadmill teams.

Suns as perennial non-playoff teams, Raptors as semifinals-finals teams.

The Raptors being much closer to the ultimate goal than the Suns.

Anyway it's just his opinion, he never attacked the Suns or any members here so your remark towards him really wasnt warranted
