I am for always improving the team. Look at the warriors. They didn't need kevin durant but still got him. I want the celtics to always improve the team, to get better, and that is not going to change.

The kid will be 22. He improved this season despite the crappy game 7 performance. I wouldn’t trade him for leonard. I don’t wanna give up the farm for leonard. I expect jaylen brown to be better this coming season. He’s also cheap right now.

One thing that would scared me with cousins. Elton Brand. He suffered the same injury around the same age. I know he’s a big guy but still.

Lol , kudos to him if he can get paid. I think we end up keeping him. But if their team wants to spend 2-3 million then we should probably let him go.

Cousins is a trash player even without the busted Achilles.

That’s a big risk. I need to know right away if the guy’s coming back. The Celtics are offering a good package. Brown could turn out to be a heck of a player. Made improvement in his second year. That kings pick likely will be in the lottery etc.

Melo is going to be history in OKC. Stretched!

What was his current salary. Maybe the can stretch him in a 4 year span.
Good assessment:

Get kawhi around this team, the culture, the environment, good ownership, coach etc, i believe he re-signs. Look at Kyrie Irving now.

Anyone else think that CP3 contract is crazy? I know they didn't have many options, but he's 33 now, and is going to be making over $40M when he's 36 turning 37 (May birthday). That team is never sniffing the finals during that time, either. This year was the closest they ever get, imo.

They have an outside shot at making the Finals, but the guy is really fragile.

They didn’t have a choice.. Kidd and Nash got deals like that.

Is Utah going to make a play for Jabari?

They already lost Ariza, are a tax team without resigning Capella yet. Just gonna get harder and harder to fill in the blanks. Will be interesting to see what happens with Mbah a Moute. If they lose him (or have to pay him a lot), that's another hit.

True, but their owner is rich and they are probably making a decent amount of money and are famous nation-wide. Ryan has done decent at drafting but his free agent signings have been the weirdest ever. Signing Ariza on a 1 year deal does nothing for the Suns, the same way signing Tyson Chandler did nothing for them.

Phoenix signed Chandler thinking the next domino was Aldridge.. And Ariza on a 1-year deal is ok.. they do have a ton of wings, but they’re following our example giving Amir a deal as a veteran mentor, the same move Philly made last year. You overpay short-term and get a steady hand on the court and a role model in the locker room.
