So I am pretty sure most Cavs fans on here are pretty convinced he is gone.
I am not sold on the draw of the Lakers or Philly.
I'd like to see a 1+1 so we have some more flex this season, but would be just as happy with him signing the supermax
where that commitment will shape the orgs ability to move forward with him locked in not cautious.

He’s probably going to LA but he should go to Philly. Two all star players that are great defenders on small contracts. That makes building a team to beat the warrriors a lot easier..

Re: Lebron opting out equates to what move?
^ I just can't imagine a scenario where he goes to LA now that PG13 is locked in to a 4 year deal in OKC. SPurs are still very unlikely to deal Kawhi to LA if they think at all it would give Lebron incentive to go there this summer or next summer.
I don't think Philly is out of the picture yet, but the real issue still lies in Joel would have a lesser role, and Simmons would be a backup + they are unlikely to bring back a shooter like JJ Red if they signed Lebron. The type of team mates that would be around James in Philly is not the type he would consider optimal. Yeah on our roster specifically Smith had a **** season and really sucked offensively even in the post season. Hill struggled to produce in the playoffs on the road really hurt us.
That being said both of those guys are on contracts that will allow us to trade them at the deadline and improve again midway through the season. I believe with the offseason training camp, and a full season together the likes of Nance , Clarkson and Hood will find more defined roles and be reliable productive members of this roster going down the stretch.
If Lebron comes back there will have been a solid 2 yr plan in place one that gives us a legit shot at getting back to the finals again, and significantly improving the roster going into 19-20 to easily overtake the likes of Boston,GSW and Houston.

LBJ must be high to go there now...from a basketball standpoint, and leaving home again I thought he had more honor than that.
Well it was fun while it lasted, but I can't say I think he made the right basketball move unless they bring in significant upgrades.
Only thing I can say at this point is I hope we don't try to stay good with patch moves and get stuck in mediocrity for several years.
