Kawhi Update Thread for 3!!!

Has there been rumors today that Lebron is thinking about joining the Sixers? Just wondering because most people think he is going to the lakers.

If Sixers believe Kawhi re-signs with them, why is the same not being done with the celtics. The NBA is all about taking chances, risks. Some work, while others fail, still shouldn't you from taking risks. Thunder took a risk with Paul George and it worked out for them. They could have easily not traded for Paul George since he wanted to go to the lakers.

The difference is that the Thunder were going nowhere, while the Celtics are all set.

Most I'd do is morris, sign and trade smart if it's legal, sac pick, clippers pick and our own next year.

We gotta try and hang into our players. If that isnt getting it done I'm more than happy to sit back keep our lineup and see what the sac pick turns into.

For overall NBA competition purposes it would be great if Lebron signs with LA and Kawhi is traded to Sixers. That would awesome for the NBA

Also, the Thunder situation is not even remotely close to similar. They took the risk with Paul George because they felt it was the only way to get Westbrook to sign an extension. The Celtics are not in that position.

To be fair as well they arent including anyone on the level of Brown in the trade. Yet people are saying we should?

If the celtics let this happen, they are not getting out the east. Lebron led team has always beaten the celtics except in 2008. Celtics can't let this happen. They can't.

#1 - this is coming from the Sixers as a Hail Mary so LeBron would even consider them

OR

#2 This is coming from the Spurs who want to cause confusion and make the Cs think they need to up their offer because Philly might pull this off.

Celtics shouldn't engage with the spurs. It is a waste of time already. They are not really serious about getting kawhi leonard. It shows with what they are offering. I am not saying they should offer this, but if what they are offering doesn't include Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, then move on.
