I do think the Lakers overpay and he goes there eventually, but if Leonard says he's willing to be here long term, you don't give up Jaylen?

I can't see the spurs trading Kawhi to the lakers now. To form a super team and block them from competing for titles for the next 5 years, no way.

The spurs have to take less now, and send him East.

They won’t get much for a guy that won’t re sign. Take Ingram and whatever other small parts they’ll get. Ingram could be great in San Antonio.

Spurs hated the Pau Gasol trade to the lakers. No way they trade him to the lakers. They are going to take less and send him east. Maybe a Terry Rozier package and the Kings pick , and maybe one of our future picks doesn't sound bad after all.

Sounds like PHI is willing to do Covington/Saric and 3 first rounders, assuming that is the two players that SA wants (that are not Embiid, Simmons, or Fultz).

If Kawhi says hes leaving, why trade anything? We can use that lotto pick in a much better way than a trade for a rental
