I can't see the spurs trading Kawhi to the lakers now. To form a super team and block them from competing for titles for the next 5 years, no way.

The spurs have to take less now, and send him East.

They won’t get much for a guy that won’t re sign. Take Ingram and whatever other small parts they’ll get. Ingram could be great in San Antonio.

Sounds like PHI is willing to do Covington/Saric and 3 first rounders, assuming that is the two players that SA wants (that are not Embiid, Simmons, or Fultz).

Kawhi is an a-hole.. Understand why Lebron wants him, though, he can pick up the toughest defensive assignments.. Deng + Ingram to SAS, maybe Zubac, and they can still work a Randle sign and trade for another piece..

He's right every 10 years or so. I consider him more entertainment, I don't really hate the man or anything. I think though on paper it did make the most sense for Lebron to head to one of the finals ready teams.

Not sure if he said the Los Angeles part in the end of your last sentence there in your first paragraph. I think he meant if the spurs don’t trade him this off season. I may be wrong but that’s what he said from what I remember

If that's the case NBA should do something. Also I would send him to clippers. Play in LA then Kawhi. Boston can help make this happen. 3 way in which Boston gets their clippers pick protections lifted. Morris to Spurs with Boban, Tobias Harris, and Jerome Robinson the BC kid and Celtics first next year. Take back decker from clippers. Gives us end of bench guy that's 2.5 mil cheaper than Morris. Gives us a little more room for Smart resign.
