But Brooklyn and Chicago will probably be strong competitors this season.

Nah, I'll happily kick both of their asses.

Just like I did last Season.

All these GM's were braggin all year about how much cap space they had. Yet they letting well rated vets and young upside talent get signed to value contracts while they sit on their hands.

Who exactly are y'all saving your dough for? A bidding war on an old broken down D. Wade? There's only but so many decent free agents in this entire class. I figured a young producer who is efficient like Bogdan Bogdanovic would crack $100. Pau Gasol should have cracked at least $40. Chicago Bulls got them both at scale!

Who are you people waiting to bid for? Dunn, I guess.

I was prepared to dump my $98 max bid Bogdanovic...y’all let me have him for cheap, so thanks for leaving me enough room for Gasol! We look forward to having him for our playoff run.

Welcome aboard big fella aka the last OG!!

Image

Kevin Durant’s succinct description of David West: “Perfect veteran.”

The well-preserved 37-year-old former All-Star is in the twilight of his career, but his basketball knowledge and enthusiasm are at a beautiful peak. He shot 57% from the field during the 2017-2018 regular season, a career-high, and assisted on about 20% of his teammates’ field goals while he was on the floor.

Despite limited minutes, and sometimes not playing at all, West was always ready to contribute. As a consummate professional, he filled his bench role with vigor. He set monster screens, rebounded with vigor, and just might have the best passing-IQ on the entire team.

When West gets the ball in his favorite spot, the high post, his teammates instinctively dash toward open areas on the floor. They know he’s calmly waiting for them to dance away from their defender for a split second window in which he will laser them an accurate pass.
