I know I dont post much here but I read a lot when I can. I respect a lot of opinions here and get a lot of good info. But I am actually surprised nobody has talked more about trying to add Dwight Howard on low $$. I mean think about the defense. I get it, hes a head case but i feel like hes at the point in his career wherd hes been humiliated and I bet hes ready to play his role for a good coach to finally get a ring and I cant see a better situation besides the Celtics to do that. There is GS but that's the KD route. Would be alot more meaningful in Boston and just imagine our defense/rebounding with him and Baynes together

Not saying it won't happen but I'll be stunned if the Spurs give in and ship Kawhi to LA.

That might be a nightmare they'll never get over. Legacy matters. Can't see Pops going out like that.

They probably aren't going to have much of a choice. Kawhi holds so much leverage there. They can either trade him to LA for a package that will likely include Ingram or Kuzma or be spiteful and take significantly less from Boston or Philly because both franchises know there is a huge chance Kawhi doesn't re-sign. The Spurs would honestly be really silly not to take the best available deal, even if that deal is from the Lakers.
