pathetic move. Should have been a man and stuck with the cavs. But I guess when you're both dumb, ugly, and talent-less outside of using PEDs going to Hollywood to try your hand at the film industry makes perfect sense :crazy:

I can't read this huge thread but is anyone even criticizing him for this move or are most people just fawning over him? There's no point in listening to what the propagandists in the sports media will say tomorrow, guarantee all will praise this move, I'm just curious to know what normal fans think. There's no way anyone should be okay with this move. Who ditches his hometown team to go to a team with a far less chance of winning championship only order to become a hollywood star? Seriously beyond pathetic. He should be getting crucified for this.

I hated Lebron in the past but he's family now. He will be family forever. If I can root for the child molester then I can definitely root for Lebron. Once a Laker, forever a Laker

I could honestly see him doubling down on the "supplements" to turn into that Rock / Arnold Schwarzenegger brolic look for Hollywood.

Oh man you're probably that's really going to **** suck. We go from Stalone and Arnold, to Tom Cruise and Will Smith, Matt Damon and Jason Statham, The Rock and Mark Wahlberg, and now LeBron James will be the action star of the 2020s. Someone needs to put a stop to this. Isn't LeBron a horrible actor too?

Thats what this feels like to me. I think Magic and Pelinka are getting way too much credit for this. This has more to do with the city than the Lakers. The stories about his sons schools, the house he bought and entertainment ventures all pointed to Lebron and his family relocating to L.A permanently because they probably wanted a change of scenery(I mean they spend almost half their life in Ohio) and the Lakers just happened to have cap space and Lebron still has some years left. He’s rich and wants to live in L.A.(who doesn’t). Plus after Lebron brought a title to Cleveland you can tell he was content and happy with his legacy in basketball and he started talking more and more about his family and life after basketball. This was a lifestyle choice and Lebron’s career is winding down.

I think if ur Lakers fans ur excited but the fact that Lebron has never been hurt and going into his 16th season makes u wonder how much longer can he outrun father time. The league is happy bc Magic gets his star and the media and Silver dont have to worry about both the two biggest markets being irrelevant for another season.
