Please don't trade away the young guys.
I think LeBron is at peace. He might just want to usher in that young talent you have.
Ingram might end up as good as Kahwi. And don't give up on Kuzma and Lonzo. This is a long-term move like Magic said.

Your talent is way better than the Cavs. Even though you traded several guys to go there.

So guess he not really looking for a super team. So then no pressure to get Kawhi this season and we can keep our guys. I think thats why we got Stephenson, KCP and Mcgee on one year deals. Plan is Kawhi next season.

I think the Spurs will eventually accept a lower package (something like Ingram + Hart)., you gotta accept that.

Dude, that was on the table BEFORE LeBron signed here. That godfather offer is gone, IMO. It was Ingram + FRPs.

Ingram is not on the table at this point. Sa leverage is dead. They can take some firsts and Randle and hart/zu or go pound sand and lose him for nothing in a year. Bos isn’t offering brown or Tatum and ppl think we should offer Ingram despite kawhi wanting to play here. Lmao learn something from Danny guys
Warspite:
Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Kawhis reduced cap hold and the expiring deals the Lakers have, plus the possibility of a young guy gaining enough value to be shipped off with Deng's contract would allow the Lakers to come close to a near max slot for Butler or KD next season
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

KD is a snake he's definitely leaving GS if he threepeats imo. The dude is obsessed with Lebron and just wants to tie him in rings I guarantee it. He's been low-key the biggest LeBron stan ever since he entered the league and all the OKC fans were tight at him for playing deferential to LeBron in the 2012 Finals as he admitted. And if the Wolves don't trade Wiggins this year Butler is 1000% a flight risk due to Tom Thibodeau's coaching and Wiggins' apathy.
If you can Kawhi for Ingram, Hart, and a FRP you should do it imo.

LeBron will finally concede when his legs give up. There are only many minutes a man can give. You will be contenders in 2 years I think. Ingram will definitely run the show. And you might have another banner.

If Kuz is off the table, I highly doubt LAL is willing to give up Ingram
As always, I oppose the idea of trading for Kawhi in the expense of Ingram or ball or Kuz
If Ingram is really on the table, it should be because Magic & Co. sees no improvement in Ingram this Summer, which is not the case I predict.
Kawhi was out for a year with injury, has he regressed due to injury? And, left the game for a year, how much is he still better than Ingram who is significantly younger and improving throughout the whole season'?

The reduced cap hold will still be 150% his previous years salary, which would be 30 something million
Ain't no way the Lakers can open up enough space for a KD or Butler if Kawhi/LeBron is on the books, and that's with Deng off the books. Not unless you're saying ditch Randle, Ingram, Ball

I do not think the Lakers do feel immediate pressure to trade the young guys....but at the same time, I would bet that Ingram, Kuzma, Hart, Ball and Randle are not all on this team at the end of this season. My preference would be if San Antonio will not take a discounted package for Kawhi....to keep them all on the roster and see how it looks through the trade deadline.

Thanks for that. I saw it somewhere else on this forum and I'm not much of a salary cap whiz so I took it at face value.

Haven't read the replies but I do have a
Q) Wouldn't all these 1 year deals be because we just needed some experience to go with Lebron for a year - I mean if we strike out on trading for KL, it will suck for this year, but LA will be just like hey we aren't in a hurry we have a great team especially with all these signings for a year, we can just hold out on our young guns.
I'd love to see a KL next year
Have him at SF and Ingram backing him up? would be awesome
and then having Kuz back up Bron?

good point on Ingram’s improvement or lack thereof. I hope we don’t trade them away just for the sake of it.

OP is a Jazz fan and is praising our young guys and not to deal them. As much as I agree with him, I still can't help but feel this is a trap.

OP doesn't want his team to face potential LeBron/Kawhi/Kemba combo in the playoffs. Ain't that it op?
