Something like Fultz/Saric/Covington/2021 Heat pick.

Apparently they tried to get a deal done for Leonard yesterday but talks went nowhere.

Ok. Interesting. Though some may disagree, I never felt Boston could compete with LA in terms of a deal... but Philly is a different story. We can definitely compete with that package. Should be interesting.

The funniest part about the Philly rumors is that LeBron apparently made his decision to sign with the Lakers on Saturday night, and yet people were acting like the meeting between LeBron's camp and the 76ers was actually significant on Sunday. lol.

Right, because agents NEVER say things to position their clients in a good light and provide info that works to their advantage........

C’mon now, if the Lakers think that the Sixers are a legitimate long term landing place for his client then they get the deal done and KAwhi gets to go where he wants. Thats all he cares about so don’t think anything he tells you is anything other than Kawhi propaganda. What you are trying to do is cherrypick the news you like to fit the narrative you want. Fultz/Simmons/Embiid supposedly off limits.

Saric/Covington/Heat Pick likely gets it done.

That is better than Ingram/Randle and a Laker pick or two. If for some reason they do trade him to the Lakers I would demand a 2023 unprotected pick. Get one for after lebron leaves and the team stinks again.

Could the Celtics do better than Saric/Covington/Heat? Yes. But I doubt they do. They can't without including Brown and Brown is a poor man's Kawhi and could be on his way to being Kawhi.

Jabari Young is pretty much one of the most clueless "insiders" I've heard speak. He's as clueless or more than Sherrod, who's one of the most irrelevant insiders in the league. I heard him say on the CSNNE podcast that the Celtics would have to trade Brown/Tatum/Sac pick even Kawhi gives no guarantees for the Spurs to trade him to us. :lol:

I want the celtics to trade for a Kawhi Leonard. I make no apologies for it. I like Jaylen Brown as player but if i had to choose between those two players, it is Kawhi Leonard. He is a star player, a two way player both on offense and defense. He gives the celtics the best chance to win a championship. People can't think whatever they want to think. It is whatever to me.
