I’ve always been curious as to why people root against Lebron. Never quite understood it tbh.

You don't understand why Wizards fans root against Lebron?

I'll just say "crab dribble" and leave you with this picture.

That is so over a decade ago, get over it. Wizards were never a rival to LeBron. He owned them.

Not sure that LBJ opting out means he’s 100% out the door, though. He’s basically retaining control over his situation, and forcing Cleveland to keep trying to improve.

Like I said, completely predictable outcome. Totally saw this coming. :P

It is one of those things like looks completely obvious after the fact :)

One of the things I saw in an article was that his wife has been checking out the LA area for about a year. Most players with everything else being equal are going to want an area they have a connection(e.g. hometown) or a top city in the world(LA/NY maybe Chicago).

While there is a pressure on LeBron to perform and win, there is a ton of pressure on the Lakers. LeBron has proven he can carry a team to the finals(in the East anyway) and win a championship. A failure will be mostly on the Lakers failing to build around LeBron. If they manage to pry Leonard from the Spurs, I think they are in relatively good shape. I am a little underwhelmed with what they have done so far(other than LBJ): Stevenson, KCP and McGee.

I don't see it. If Ujiri decides to keep the Raptors together, they are far better than us. The Sixers are far better than us. The Celtics are far better than us.

We just took the raptors to 6 without Otto, then added a 1st round pick when the raptors didn’t have one. How are they “far better” than us?

Small sample size theater.

i love this thread and if you're a DC fan w/ love for lebron, then we're not friends. don't @ me.

also, LA makes sense for Lebron in that his kid will get way more exposure playing in that SoCal prep league than St. Vincent/St. Mary's.

People hate the dude "don't know why since most don't even know him (personaly)". Dude is the best player on the Planet or in the NBA. Fact folks.

Does Bron have bad breath? Why does he always talk to other players through his jersey over his mouth?

I think it's a shoutout to Jordan, who used to do that when talking to officials so nobody could see what he was saying. I think Jordan meant it as a sign of respect.

This seems to be a little bit isolated vs. a pattern, but not a good way to introduce yourself to a new fanbase.
