They set it all up on purpose so nobody would get mad at him for leaving his hometown team again, this time just to become a movie star lmao. How many "LeBron could surpass/has surpassed Jordan" stories did we all read and hear over the last year? Elhassan's statement that LeBron just needs one more title to be the GOAT is a perfect example of how people have lost their minds.

LeBron won't ever be KOBE, let alone Jordan. MJ has him beat easily in the numbers and intangibles but somehow we're expected to entertain the bull "LeBron GOAT" narrative endlessly.

He was thinking about family and his post NBA career by choosing the Lakers. I'm not convinced they're gonna beat GSW or even Houston but at least it'll be fun to see him play in the Western Conference and to see how far he can take this Lakers team.

**** disgusting to see him going to that garbage team. I was pretty sure that he was gonna go to the rockets to team up with harden&CP3 or join the sixers to stay in the eastern conference to preserve his finals records, his fit with them was never good since Simmons is the ballhandler and he can't play off ball and doesn't have a shot on him and Lebron isn't gonna take a backseat for him. If he had gone to the rockets he and harden could have been the equivalent to curry&durant.

I would still prefer the curry&durant tandem over him and harden even though he is the best player out of those four but harden just isn't a playoff performer and curry&durant is just a better fit IMO and more diverse and way better on the defence end, now CP3 is better then either klay or dray of course but those two together>>>>cp3 but still with all these they would have a decent shot at the title next year, but now that he has joined lakers.... :banghead:

I seriously don't know what he is thinking the only way this move any sense is if kawhi decides to join the lakers otherwise he is **** now that PG13 signed for OKC but he already knew that PG13 signed for OKC before he joined lakers so I don't know what his plan is but it doesn't look promising for him. He isn't winning jack **** with lakers unless kawhi joins him but even then I don't think they stand chance with all due respect to how good both of them are.

The lakers core isn't doing **** in the PO they suck only lakers fans trying to deluded thinking that their core is any good but they are a bunch of morons. But seriously ask yourself this if the lakers core is so promising why are you guys so desperate for stars to join you? The simple answear is your core isn't good enough and that's why you are "star hunting", you would AT BEST a second round exist with that core if even that :lol:

But how do you know that? It's not like he would publicly say he's leaving because he doesn't like Cleveland, his teammates suck, and there's little hope for quick youth development. Of course he's going to say this is now about his family -- buy he'll still be playing for 4 more years min and getting 154 mil.

Why is the 'best thing for his family' taking kids out of school again and transplanting his wife to a place where she hasn't lived before? He must have an amazing PR crew.

I cant believe people think lebron is joining a garbage team. As if he had any intention whatsoever of the roster yesterday being the roster at the end of the season. Do people really think he just woke up yesterday morn and magically decided he didnt care about winning anymore? The most legacy, dramatic, stats, and appearance obsessed person in nba history? Nobody could possibly be that stupid.

This is what lebron does. He doesnt JOIN teams, he REASSEMBLES them into some freak frankenstein monster of human chess pieces and idiot sycophants according to his needs. The lakers roster is going to be completely different by the time he's done with it, and in no small part due to the massive amount of colluding he's no doubt been doing with the kawhis, kembas, and everyone else whose phone he's been blowing up.

I'd give credit to one of the sudden curmudgeons who actually uses "Hurr durr" to preface their salt. I can admit when the Lakers are X, Y, and Z and in return I get a bunch of obvious haters are obvious. I think sh might settle down just a bit once we've all (everyone of every stripe) have internalized this as real. Right now, this team is garbage. The Lakers so far have signed scrubs and over-the-hill veterans. The young talent is flawed, even the ones that are not awful - Ball, Kuzma and Ingram. LeBron has shown in the past he is not good at evaluating talent - just look at moves like old man Wade and Rose on Cleveland this year.

Cleveland is a dumpster fire. I'm sure he's going to form a better team than Cleveland. IMO, with the potential defense around him he's well on his way right now compared to this 2018 team. But "a better team that CLE" wouldn't necessarily make the WCF this year, going up against either GSW or Houston in the 2nd round. To even make the Finals he needs a team a team as good as one with 2 MVPs in their prime + bubble all-NBA supporting talent. He's an underdog for the Finals with Kawhi on this team added for free. That's not a great situation for winning.

A team with Lebron has a chance in any conference, it wont be as easy, but I also imagine the youth and talent we surround him with will give him a punchers chance at the very least of making it to the Finals.

HOU was one CP3 injury away from beating GSW.

Give Lebron some gasoline and a stout defense, and you're looking at a solid shot.
