The Knicks just cut Trey Burke. Seems his NBA career has ended.

Who would’ve imagined that the defending NBA champ has both Swaggy P and Pierre on its opening day roster!

No assurance that they stick around come playoffs time, tho. :D

Nate Wolters plays for Utah now (two-way deal and was activated), I'd rather have him than Fraizer, at-least he can score.

Andray Blatche sold his Bowie home thus cutting his remaining ties to the area.

No need now, Sato has stepped-up.

BTW, I like what Utah is doing, Naz Mitrou-Long was on their G-League team and has a better shot at being an NBA player, so when Wolters hurt his back, it was bye-bye time.

The New York Knicks will prioritize playing time to their young point guards over Jarrett Jack when they return from the All-Star break.

The Knicks have Frank Ntilikina, Emmanuel Mudiay and Trey Burke at point guard.

"It's probably all three of those young guys (playing more) — Frank, Emmanuel and Trey — and we'll slide a couple of them in the two spot a little bit," Jeff Hornacek said. "Whether it's Trey and Emmanuel or some combination of those guys — Emmanuel and Frank."

Jack was signed as a stopgap point guard.

"We don't want (Ntilikina) to always be off the ball, either," Hornacek said. "We want to play him on the ball. So that he continues to get that taste of the point guard position."

The Knicks have 4 PG's

There is something seriously wrong with the Wizards coaching process that they come-up empty when trying to utilize the talent that they have, this has happened repeatedly with PG's where they had serviceable back-ups like Shelvin Mack, and Trey Burke. Looks like Otto is another player that we're not seeing them at their best potential. Not saying these guys are all-stars or anything, but these players always look better after leaving the Wizards.

Is it possible that Trey Burke just got better since he left? They utilized him last year and he was awful on both ends. Now it appears at least he improved his shot and is running a team better. He's become a terrific shooter off the PNR. Of course, still a small sample size and let's see if he can do that all season.

The announcer remarked:
"Blache should be fined for throwing such a soft punch anyway".

The guard came in looking kind of undersized lucha libre, definitely more bad ass than Blatchmo

Danuel House just signed with the Warriors. Damn Ernie, why you didn't give him that 64M contract instead of Mahinmi! :)

Camp deal

It's a one-year deal -- I'm sure it's not guaranteed from the get-go, but still... a little more than just a camp deal.

Feel good story. Glad to see him make some $$$. Hope he sticks.
