It’ll be interesting to see what other moves are made. I really wish we could have given that room exception to Brook Lopez. But part of me thinks that Luke wants to go to a fully switch unit.

Meanwhile, Mitch is still trying to get ahold of other teams' front office

The addition of Lebron alone vaults this team into the top 4 in the west, and I believe this team has enough talent to make things interesting against the Warriors and Rockets. I don't see the need in gutting our roster for Kawhi now...he'll pursue us next season. :D

Right no need to gut now.

Just play and see how good they get after a few months. Then see who to add with Kawahi in 2019 and try to get rid of Deng's contract.

His highest priority is to stay healthy and avoid catastrophic injuries. Defense won’t ever be what it was a couple years ago, so a dominant wing defender like Kawhi and a defensive big man would definitely extend his career.

His playmaking and b-ball IQ have been his greatest talents, even above his physical gifts, so he should definitely be able to have a major impact on the game for the life of his contract.

I think Kuzma and Mo Wagner get the most immediate benefits - Lakers will run a ton of the same Kevin Love actions for these bigs who can pick and pop. Kuzma will blow up next season - trust. Lebron will get the ball to him in his spots, and he’s going to get buckets and 20 points a game easily.

I think Lonzo will benefit too. He was better on catch and shoot threes than pull ups, he’s a low-usage PG - I think he’ll do better than people think. He doesn’t need the ball on his hands like a traditional PG.

Lonzo would be more like a Manu Ginoboli-playmaking wing next to Lebron.

I like to think that they're the remnants of Kobe's old fanbase, and not actually Laker fans.

First things first.

YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! WE BACK BABY. LAKESHOW IS BACK.

Major props to Magic. He is THE DUDE. No wonder this whole city loves him. The Swagger of it all. Wow.
Major props to Jeanie for excising the cancer that was Jimmy Buss and making the right choice with Magic and Rob. You the MVP Jeanie.

Major major props to Lebron Mothaf***in James for having the cojones to sign with us. No demands. No guarantees. Nothing. Just for the simple honor of wearing one mythical Jersey in his career. The sign of a man who believes in himself. He signed first. That is huge. Huge. We can now literally have our pick of FA these next few years. Major props or signing for FOUR years. Amazing. No holding the Lakers hostage. No sir. Major respect for Lebron right now.

The city has been buzzing since last night. Everybody talking about how this is where the King belongs.

Finally we gonna have a winning team. The day Kobe ruptured his Achilles and this day. What happened in between...…...we ain't about that life. Now we are back to where we belong. It feels great man. Feels great.

Looking at the roster right now, i hope this is what LeBron intended. At least for this season.

As long he’s cool with the process then it will be fine imo.
