Interesting!

Curious if Boston even made an offer. Stevens didn’t want to coach him before. Yet it was reported that he liked coaching Melo during the All star game

Melo is a poor teammate on the court because of his style of play, but I don't ever remember hearing about him causing problems in the locker room like Cousins.

Similar, in only a few ways, to the Bulls adding Brian Williams/Bison Dele for a playoff win.

Cousins won't do anything in the regular season, but will be expected to help a bit in the playoffs. Then he an find a bad team to give him money after collecting his ring. That is their thinking. It may not work out how they plan.

Can't deny that the Pelicans were better without Cousins.

Did Vlade win the trade? Probably not. A draw.

New Orleans ended up renting Cousins. Vlade has Buddy Hield, that Jackson small forward and Harry Giles. Maybe not a win right now, but Vlade has three shots at turning the trade into a win.

Don't know if it's true, but it would have been a monster move if true. A true low risk, high reward move if he could have come back strong from his injury. Kind of not buying it unless I hear it from more than just Chris Haynes, but you never know.

Boogie to Golden St is ridiculous. I'm glad he isn't a Celtic. Celtics have dealt with enough injuries, and it would have been frustrating with Boogie rehabbing half the season then coming in and complaining all the time.
Glad that Danny at least explored the option. Just goes to show you that Ainge turns over most rocks.

It also says it in wojs story on espn. It's true

http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/23980153/demarcus-cousins-agrees-join-golden-state-warriors-1-year-53-million-deal

Although to be fair he's referencing Haynes In his story when saying that lol

This is the culture we live in now. "Winning" is the only thing on earth that matters. Context is irrelevant. Collateral damage is irrelevant. Everyone but you is irrelevant. You're only worth anything if you're #Winning.

I guess I'm officially old man yells at cloud...

These modern day “all stars” act like entitled little princesses. Why, back in my day, a man wanted to win by beating the competition, not taking most of the year off and then joining for the ring ceremony.

... guess I’ll need a cloud of my own to yell at...

Waiting for Pop to say, “**** it all” trade Kawhi to GSW for peanuts, then retire.

Some of these Lakers signing are making LeBron's supporting cast in Cleveland look good.

If you didn't get the memo, Bron has given up on trying to win championships. It's all about the benjamins and lifestyle for him now.

Letting Randle walk for nothing to sign scrubs is certainly strong evidence for that being the case. If they manage to trade their youth and some draft picks for Kawhi that would be pretty funny.

Rondo-Pope-James-Leonard-Lopez is not exactly earth shattering.

Rondo is a horrid match with James, imo... don't care tho. Randle 2 years for 19 mils or whatever it was is a steal!!!

Boogie Cousins could totally ruin his career if he gets exposed on the Warriors and I think he will, the guy is a FRAUD!
Good assessment:

PLO wrote:Tatum played OK - took advantage of a few mismatches - decent on the defensive end. He is what we thought he was going into the season - a technically very proficient player operating close to his career ceiling as a rookie.

Good, glad to hear he got a decent contract in a pretty good situation. Avery is one of the good guys.

Hot take: Clippers will win more games than the Lakers. As long as they stay relatively healthy.

How willing will LeBron be to be coached by Luke Walton, or will he coach the team himself?

He is but what's also interesting is the benchmark this sets for Marcus.
