Where does Boogie go now? Money is tight around the league and a sign-and-trade doesn't seem feasible given their cap situation. It doesn't even make sense to give him a huge one-year deal and go into the tax since he's likely to sit for a decent chunk of the season anyway.

It’s pretty obvious that he’s headed to the Lakers. Probably informed the Pels of his intentions already, so they went out and got Randle.

Once the Lakers stretch Deng they can offer Cousins about ~$15mil on a 1yr deal, and still have their cap space next year (either to max Boogie if he looks good, or to sign Kawhi outright)

Ah... I finally understand why they waived Bryant -- they have Boogie coming in.

Their loss is our gain!

Actually, I kind of like Bryant. & boogie ain't a Laker yet.

Prefer Bryant to Cousins! Lakers might be worse than last years Cavs. Still thinking they get Leonard at some point for some of those expirings they have accumulated.

DeMarcus Cousins just agreed to sign for the taxpayer's midlevel exception of $5.3 million with the Golden State Warriors.

You would think we are located in the smallest, rural, mid-west market in the country with the way Ernie manages this team.

Durant took less so they could even offer that much. Does NBA step in at some point? At least the Heatles had market value contracts.

Wall and Beal have attracted ZERO free agent talent to this team.

It’s clearly time we split this underachieving duo up in my opinion.

Just shows how little interest the pelicans had in resigning him. Wow

LeBron, Bosh, Wade, Ray Allen, and Haslem all took less. Spurs had also been doing it for years.

Didn't play at all this year -- what was the nature of his injury?
