Trae Young looks very average around NBA size and length. He won't live up to the hype.

JJJ looks solid. Ugly shot but it's going in.

I'm interested to see the Kings play this summer league game. I believe Harry Giles is healthy and playing also.

Kings core looks fun. they won't win but I like Fox as their floor general. He'll make everyone run.

Harry Giles looks healthy, gained muscle bulk, great stroke from 3 pt line. Looks promising.

He will maybe have bounce back summer league game becuse level of competition is below G league but this is what his rookie nba season will look like.
You get a guy who has no hoops or lenght to finish around rim or over , or around bigger defenders. Due opponents lenght all his shots will always be off balance and rushed to even have chance to lunch them. At college he was shooting 26 footers that felt like half court shots because of 21 feet lenght of 3 point line, in nba 26 footer is like 1 step behind 3 point line and that's normal spot for shooters.

Overall he is such a flawed prospect. He can't defened, he can't really do anything on set defense but lunch bricks right after a high pick&roll, he can't drive, only nba level skills that he might have are passing ( showed nothing tonight ) and flopping like a fish after contact to draw a foul. Almost like Harden.

To be fair, I think anyone expected this from Trae during his rookie year. He even missed some layups with contact.

Him sucking now is continuation of him sucking at college. He was shooting 36% FG last month and half or so of his college career. People figured that once you pressure him with full court press he has no stamina or skills to be effective in any way. Just like people figured Lonzo can't shoot and you can go under screen 2 games into his summer league "nba career". Lonzo won MVP of summer league award despite shooting 38% FG and 23% for 3. Just like in SL, that translated to nba later.

Btw props to JJJ who menaged to commit ZERO fouls

I feel for the Atlanta fans right now. I'm sure they won't be trading Schroder this year.

I didn't mind trae at 6, wasn't super into him but he's got some potential on the offensive side but if we'd traded doncic for trae I would have been booking a flight to orlando to personally tell management how i felt about it.

Watching Trae and Schroder videos the last few days I was wondering what the hell was Atlanta thinking. Schroder is clearly another level athlete and I'm not sure Trae's game can translate against the bigger better defenders.
