it always like that
take javale mcgee - in washington and denver he was "a joke, a terrible player, shaqtina fool, etc"
in golden state and now with the lakers - "solid role player"
ask sixer fans a week ago if they would make this trade and i bet 95% say no. now they love him.
What do you expect when so many of our own fans underrate our players? Especially our young players. There was just a post on Reddit showing advanced and per possession stats between Jokic, Cousins, and KAT without there names, and Jokic's stats were clearly better than those 2, yet Nuggets fans post all the time that KAT and Cousins are better, why? Go compare Murray's numbers with Ingrams, Murray is in the top 25% of the league and Ingram is in the bottom 30% of all the advanced stats and they are 5 months apart in age, yet people will tell you how great Ingram is going to be and that Murray will be lucky to be a good starter? Nuggets fans will go right along with it though. Harris is reportedly going to be a quality role player, but when you look at his numbers compared to Thompson's at the same age, Harris is right there with him. Hell Kuzma and Saric are getting a ton of hype, look into the advanced stats and Lyles is right there. Same level as Saric and better than Kuzma, while being younger than both, yet people talk about him as a throw in? Our talent is hurt badly when it comes to basic stats, too many great young players with too many good vets has caused everybody's numbers to go down. When our all of us Nuggets fans going to wake up to what we have, and even talk about how good our guys really are?
