Actually, yeah - February. If Avery is part of a trade package that either gets us a star or helps us unload another bad contract (*cough*Gallinari*cough*), this is all very much worth it. Otherwise ... not so much.

My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Any mook on the internet can find Bradley's season totals wanting. His start to the season yielded some of the worst numbers in NBA history. Average them in and he'll never catch up. This gentle correspondent has been using Bradley's numbers from the last 4-6 weeks for quite a few weeks now.

I like the guys in the Twitterverse and post some of their stuff here myself, but they follow the pack first dogpiling on Avery, now following the pack that he's not been so terrible lately after all. I'm gratified, after the abuse I've taken for saying the same stuff except when it was actually happening. Good to see Ramna and all the 'experts' he retweets finally catching up, lol.

Avery Bradley used to be a plus NBA player; he is still not back. He may never get back. All I ever said was he wasn't what was losing us games, and he wasn't taking minutes from anybody who had earned them.


FTR, as it stands now, even with the recent improvement, I wouldn't pick the team option for next year. But this year, aside from Lou, he and Pat ARE our veteran leadership, and are more responsible for our success so far than the Twitterverse acknowledges.
