Trae is seriously looking like a 2nd round pick so far

Young is shooting very poorly, but he does show good court vision and worst case can run an offense. If I am a Hawks fan, that is not what I want to see from the pick that Doncic was traded for though. You can’t mess up picks 1-5, and early indicators are they may have. Still a looooooong way to go though. I am quite sure he will put up some big games later in the season.

Some PG's don't really develop until they're 24-25.

Forget the shooting, what I've seen is a lack of speed/athleticism to create separation. He is dribbling a ton and not really doing anything.

He had some moments last game but the shots he had to take were extremely difficult

There were also some plays he forced everything..... the position he put himself in on the drive and seemed to have had no exit strategy. I really hope this is just growing pains.... cuz even though i wasn't high on him.... i was hoping he translates to the nba. As of right now....DANGGGGGG!!!!

Can you imagine if he was doing this for our summer league team? People would be losing their minds and blaming Weltman.

Trae is getting in the lane and passing well. His shot will fall. There’s going to be an adjustment period.

He's passing it fine but he is not getting any separation for his shots. I can't imagine what's going to happen when the PG's get even bigger and faster this fall.

I know it’s just summer league but oof Trae looks rough. I don’t see how he’s going to be able to finish at the rim in the NBA.

I just saw we play the Brooklyn Nets on Friday to open up our Summer League. I thought our 1st game was Saturday but its tomorrow. Unless someone beats the Warriors, They are going to win the Summer League as they are 3 and 0.

Summer League isn't really a good place to judge bigs. AG struggled a lot his first summer league and looked like a god in the next one.. just want to see Isaac be aggressive and injury free and Bamba show some good defense and I'll be happy.

Like I said before the draft, people are either going to be very right about Trae or very wrong.. a lot of people here were very convinced or not convinced about his abilities.

Jarrett Allen will be a good first test for Bamba though.

Trae playing like a guy who would wear a blazer with shorts.

And yea - already can’t stand Grayson Allen. I’m ok with being a pest to get in someone’s head. But like Tyler Hansbrough before him...he doesn’t know where to draw the line. I have a feeling his recklessness is going to cause a career ending injury at some point, and that’s a scary thing to have in the league.

His passing is fine 9 times out of ten but he's getting way too sped up if that makes sense. I mean it's summer league but he's struggling against end of the bench garbage time players. Still think he gets it together but I didn't think he would struggle this much
