There should be an automatic ban to whomever posts Stewart or Lifshatz tweets.
I have more sources than those two fools combined.

Absolutely not. He would never offer up more assets for that specific reason. Blasphemy.
Daryl Morey once said Ainge is the toughest negotiator in the business. He’s not gonna break down this time either. Our position is too rock solid
He's never had the chance to trade for a top 5 talent, so there's no telling what he'd do in this situation. This is the caliber player he's always wanted, so time will tell how far he'll go.

I love the brave face Lakers have put on. We should all believe that soon to be 34 year old James is cool waiting a year, playing with kids, Lance and Rondo and throw away one of the few great years he has left. Cool story.
Lebron's move to LAL isn't all about titles it has to do with Kutch Sports as well. Lebron has titles what he hasn't had until know was a front office that was completely on board with how he wants to do business. The first more the Lakers make after signing Lebron is sign Caldwell Pope to a one year extension, Klutch Sports client who they had convinced to walk away from a 80 mil dollars and sign with the Lakers on a one year 18 mil dollar deal.
James is going to want to win but he isn't going to want to see all these young guys and draft picks dealt off when he can get help in FA next season and possibly steal a client or two.
Agents only get 10% right?
How lucrative can that be compared to his other ventures?
Even if another Klutch client gets a $210 million super max, they only get $21 million of that and Lebron splits that with his partners.
I mean he got the Cavs to overpay for Tristan, JR and others but that sabotaged the team from building a better roster and limiting his chances for rings.
And for what, 10%?

Jesus, on the Spurs forums they post Liversnaps tweets and think they turned down Irving now.
But I saw this there that made me laugh.

Telling you, too many red flags. Spurs shouldn't get close to what they want for Kawhi

This is scientology type crap. Read a joke recently that Kawhi is in a cult. Are we sure it's a joke? How else do we explain this bizarre situation? Guys want out all the time. But I've never seen guy miss a whole year when his team and teammates feel he's healthy, hiding from his team ...

Bold part is the story that's been told by pro-LAL / Lebron media. I don't believe it for one second. I believe business and family stuff played a significant role in why he chose LA. But LA (with Philly) was also at the top of the list when you consider cap space / young talent.
Signing CP was nepotism, but he was also one of the best SG FA available in the market. You could argue Bradley or Redick are better. Noel, another Klutch client, didn't get a deal with the LAL even though they have a starting spot open - so I think this angle is being overplayed.
I agree that James doesn't want LA to sell all the young guys and picks, they understand their leverage but I expect them to blink first. LA offer will get better as we get closer to the training camp because James wants a good team ASAP. That's my take on it, I've been wrong before.

Heres what Lifshatz does:
-Tweets LeBron isnt going to LA
-Tweets LeBron is going to LA
When LeBron goes to LA, he props up the tweet that was correct as of he had inside information. He did the exact same thing with Boogie Cousins a few days ago. He’s a con man and full of ****.

It is the power and influence as much as the money. If it was about the money he never would have left CLE the first time. Most of the power in the NBA lays with the guys paying the bills James is actually getting paid for influence and power.

FWIW James allegedly trusts magic and Jeanie, but honestly anyone that drafted Ball 2nd I personally don't trust their judgement.

I think Magic and James are a partnership bigger than basketball. Lets face it James is going to probably get to the Conference Finals with 11 guys who can make some 3's. While Magic is currently running the Lakers he is still a major player in the investment company baring his name. No matter how you feel about Magic dude makes money in his sleep and does it by investing in urban communities. I think James decision to go to LA has as much to do with after basketball as it does with basketball.

You're certainly correct, and the Lakers have always placed marketing and profitability on an equal plane as winning, for better or worse. That's why you saw them pick Ball, because he was all over ESPN. That **** factors into their decision making just as equally as the basketball side of the equation. So again, you are spot on here.
Edit: it's also why they signed Kobe to that final awful dumpster fire contract. Marketablity and to secure that TV deal.

Re: Kawhi Update Thread, Numero 4
For what we know half of LA population could be made of Magic’s sons, of course is popular and makes money, I’m not going to give a penny to Bron tho, if I have to give money to some ex-NBA player it would be Kobe, I hope Bron doesn’t want to eat in Kobe’s bowl, he will fail miserably.
