More rumors resurfacing on Dame Lillard to Lakers. Don't know who they'd what though. Lonzo and Ingram works. But with Lonzo there is LaVar.

Are you kidding me ?!
The Phillipines were outnumbering us like 5 to 1. What would you do when punches are being thrown from every angle ??

It's okay, don't get mad, they stepped up for their teammate. It is what it is.

This has obviously been covered a fair bit here in Australia. Who knows what the hell Maker was doing flying around with those terrible attempts and kung fu kicks? And obviously one of the Australian players (Daniel Kickert) escalated the situation significantly when he knocked down the guy who committed the hard foul on the Australian player. One of the Philippines players tried to trip him over during the warm up so he was already a little heated. And one of the Philippines coaches was caught on camera in a timeout telling his players to knock the Australians over, so there had be a heap of dirty off ball stuff happening prior to the brawl that had made things start to simmer.

But a dozen players attacking one or two opposition players along with team and stadium officials and FANS is not really stepping up for your team mates. Stomping on a defenseless player on the ground and using chairs to attack players? It certainly "is what it is".

And the Australian coaches were initially doing the right thing trying to keep the Australian players on the bench at the other end of the court from getting involved. So this led to single Australian players having multiple people trying to attack them, so of course you are going to be backing up and trying to get away.

This is why before we ever enter "GOAT" discussions with Lebron he has to agree to play a season or two under 20th century rules. Where you have to through the defenses of 1980s era New York, Detroit, and Boston. The rules where if you flop you just get laughed at. And then stomped.

Did everyone miss the bit when the retired coach Luc Longley just tanked through the whole Philippino team? The only reason the philippinos were standing was because the Aussies weren't throwing down.

To be honest, I cant tell by your post if you are being critical of Longley and the Australian team or not.

This is what Longley barreled through for, to get one of the Australian players out who was on the ground being punched, stomped on, and hit with a chair by Philippine players, officials and fans. This tweet is from his manager.

I'm Filipino, and that whole thing embarrassed me. Suspend the whole team. Not like they would have qualified for the Olympics anyhow, but still.

Taking the selfie was the dumbest **** I have ever seen. Bunch of punks. I hope Nike pulls their sponsorship.

Not being critical at all, Longley did a great job.

Who knows what the hell Maker was doing flying around with those terrible attempts and kung fu kicks?

Nice get by the Pacers to pick up Kyle O'Quinn on a cheap one-year deal. He is basically perfect as a role player on a playoff team. Completely wasted on the Knicks.

Over under on Indy surpassing Toronto as the potentially 3rd best team in the east after their offseason?

A lot of that depends on what sort of development we see from Sabonis and Turner I guess, right? They're going to have an unbelievably deep front court this year. Going to be an interesting team to watch out for.

That said, I think the Raptors are getting a bit underrated based on a bad playoff series. They're probably still going to be really good, especially in the regular season, until Masai starts selling vets to get younger or Lowry begins to show his age. Obviously they aren't in a position to contend for a championship, but I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to grab high seeds and advance a round or two in the playoffs for the next couple years.

Third best? They're second-best behind us. Don't let the 76ers-driven media fool you. The Pacers are damn good and have a much deeper roster than Philly.

True.

Cannot count out bucks either imo. Adding shooting and a real coach could very well propel them.

Carmelo Anthony will have his contract stretched and waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder or traded this summer.
