KOQ plays the same position as their 2 good Cs. They got better, but need to get another wing in. The signings should make them pretty flexible on that front so it's still a good offseason on the whole.

Melo is pretty much a replacement level player at this point.

McDermott's contract being bad doesn't change the fact that he is knockdown shooter who makes that offense better. As far as O'Quinn, yeah, he plays the same position as Sabonis and Turner, but he is a completely different type of player. They needed a banger down low and O'Quinn will give them that.

As for Melo, I think he winds up in either Golden State or LA.

I don't think the warriors will have any interest but I think the Lakers are all in on him.

I think Ainge would have some interest in Melo off the bench but Celtics have no chance. Melo is going to play with his buddy Chris Paul in Houston or his other buddy Lebron in Los Angeles

Why wouldn’t he want to stay in the east when he has a better chance to make the nba finals. Meló has been a bad luck charm though.

Meló shot his worse percentage ever since his rookie season. He seems to be on the decline. He should know that he’s a bench player these days.

Seems to be huh? He's been on the decline for years lol. Unless he accepts a bench role he will be on some garbage team for the rest of his career.

Celtics are all set at the SF spot right now so I don't think Ainge will have any interest at all.

Ainge is always looking for guys that can put the ball in the basket regardless of position

Well, Melo shot 40 percent from the floor last year, so I'm not sure if he qualifies anymore.

Here's a picture of Lebron, trying to figure out a polite way to say "No" to Melo after he gets a text asking if he can play with him and the Lakers.

Portland isn't giving up the face of the franchise for Marcus Smart and a Kings pick. Not going to happen.

The team we have now can compete with golde state if we bring back smart. I don’t know if they will have interest in Carmelo. He needs to realize he will come off the bench.

I don't think Parker's decision has any bearing on what Kawhi does. I think the whole Parker quote was overblown, especially when you watch the actual clip of what Parker said.

The relationship between Kawhi and the Spurs seemed to be deteriorating long before Parker made that comment.

And damn. First, Duncan. Now, Parker. Manu is the only one left, and he might retire. It is truly the end of an era, not just in San Antonio, but for the NBA itself.

Return to Boston Celtics
