I have no reaction. Literally none. Vlade is the absolute worst.

What's the general consensus on the board about the Kings doing this?

Pretty split in terms of wanting him or not. I would say even the guys that do like him with the team would have liked him a lot cheaper though.
Would Bulls have matched 14-15 per?
I don’t know why we went so hard tbh.
At the end of the day I don’t mind too much, it better not mean 1 of Bogdan or Buddy goes though!
In some ways I have more hope that the Kings are viewing Bogdan as the starter at the 3.

I said quit awhile back this was going to happen .

Look aside from the rookie the Bulls got last year Lavine is their best player even though he was hurt . I am 90% sure bulls will sign him .
No worries here !

Is Vlade that desperate to make a somewhat noteworthy signing? That's enough of an overpay for Lavine that the Bulls have to think about not matching.

I think Bulls would match at 14-15 million.

I personally hope that they don't match this offer.

Either that or he is trying to get rid of the cap players. Risky, could he pull it off? Going to be an exciting 48 hours with lots of hot takes

He really wasn't close to our best player. Granted he was coming off an injury.

Niko was our best player by far before they traded him.

We play marbles in Sactown, not even checkers.

They want him badly it looks like to me.

Yeah you could be right there. At the end of the day I’m willing to give it a go. Joerger better have an up and down style of game plan sorted that’s for sure.

Not really a fan of it because it sounds like we will have to move one of Bogi or Buddy to do it. If we kept all three and just experimented with speedy, small lineups, then I’d be more ok with it. As is, I dislike it and most here do as well. I would’ve rather signed Smart or Parker.

We're probably going to match, don't freak out. Which I'm bummed about. You guys just made us overpay on a mediocre player.

The weird part is Lavine’s comments. Tbh, that doesn’t sound like someone excited for Sac. Maybe this is something like getting rid of cap players. If it falls through, then Vlade gets talent he likes. Who knows?

Sorry man. It may be smart from Vlade’s end if this is the case. At least Lavine fits in Chicago and should be loads better than last year.

We will see Vlade come out in the press conference saying something like “we like Zach, we think he play the 1, the 1 through 3. He also shoot from long range so he will help us out there.”

Also “He was our first choice from day 1. It was an easy choice.”
