For once, I actually agree with KC.

KC’s position on this could be extremely telling with him being the mouth piece for the organization. Just saying.

Not sure if true, but somebody said that ESPN reported that the Bulls will likely match the offer.

I also don't think the Bulls should be letting young players they value walk for nothing at the beginning of their rebuild. If they have to overpay some, so be it, IMO. The free agency game has never worked for them, and probably won't as long as Forman/Paxson are there, unfortunately.

I'd much rather save the cap space so that we can sign two max free agents in 2019 or 20, than waste in a guy who has never been a net positive on the court, and is coming off an ACL.

And when was the last time the Bulls signed a max free agent from another team...??? Not happening bud. Bulls match this since they can't convince anyone to come to or stay with this franchise.

Boozer, Gasol, Wallace. And just because it never happened in the past, doesn't mean it won't ever. Haven't you ever read the fine print "past performance is no guarantee of future results"?

Take into consideration that full recovery from ACL tear is 18+ months. What you saw out of him was not necessarily what you’ll see from him in future years. That has always been the issue though from the moment the Bulls acquired him

KANGZ sticking it to us. Of course the most moronic front office in the NBA has to target our guy. Lose lose situation. Oh well

That article coming out = Bulls are matching. Using KC to try and get out ahead and spin it.

Of course you don't sign him to that.

Go to the trade board or general boar, the Kings fans are disgusted with this move and fans of other teams mocking the Kings.

That being said, KC says they must match, so it's likely already a done deal, the fools will match.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong

Honestly, I'm so meh about the whole Zach situation. I really don't really care if we match or let him go quite honestly. I really haven't been so ambivalent about such a big decision by the Bulls, which probably means that best decision would be to let him go.
Why so serious?

I'm done here.

How is this bloated exactly? If the Bulls were looking to sign Lavine for $18 mil, what's the difference?

I can’t wait until two years from now when the trade board spends its time debating how many picks they’d require to take on Lavine’s bad contract.

I let him go. That's too much. He's not even better than Prime Ben Gordon.

Were gonna match. Wish we wouldn't though. Let the kangz cap themselves out with the perma-lotto team they've built.

I could care less about his comments, in fact i think he’s 100% right. Bulls left with their pants down... again.

Maybe Gar/Pax never intended to resign Lavine, maybe they hust wanted an easy way to part ways. Everyone in the league and every basketball fan could see the Kings had to offer a big $$ deal for Lavine, hindsight not required.

Would be surprised if the Bulls don't match. I hope they pass, but doubt it.

And those three names is exactly why relying on free agency with this front office is by far the worst way to go. It's bitten the Bulls franchise so many times in the past, yet for some reason everyone on these forums thinks that they'll get it right this time! :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
