Kyle is not a speedy player, but he is good team player. Can shoot (well, 3 needs work), can steal, nice block numbers for a SF, sure he is slowish, but it doesn't seem to effect his defense. Smart is an a****le, you hate him when he plays against you. Won't say Smart is a good shooter, because he is awful, but again good moving the ball and good defense and just a annoying little piece on the court. Both would help Bulls defense and don't really know would neither be lousier on offense than LaVine. Neither are as good scorers than LaVine, but better on everything else.

If we had to go after another teams free agent, I'd rather have Anderson than Parker at least. Anderson's defense has improved a bunch in San Antonio.

Yep, Anderson is very interesting guy for me, but we'd have to overpay for him for Spurs not to match imo, especially given Kwahi situation. It would take 10+ offer to do it and not sure I'd be wiling to give up that much for guy who could easily end up being backup. But he is great defensive combo forward (#2 RPM in the league for position) which is very valuable since he can guard 2-5.
He is slowly developing his shot too (33% this season, albeit on only one att per game)

Eh, who cares. It's not like we're targeting anyone else of note. If they match, they match. Why not take the chance and see what happens?

Because I don't think he is worth it and doesn't play a position of need either. The plan was not blow all of our cap space this Summer. We are already likely taking a risk of LaVine. Two similar risks is too much.

Ok, I thought you were implying it’s not worth the effort because the Bucks would match.

Kyle Anderson is more of a power forward than a wing, bad fit with Lauri. Marcus Smart's stats are gnarly, but his defensive contributions are hard to measure. Worth taking a look at both.

I still really like the idea of picking up Pat Connaughton. Athletic 6'5" wing who can shoot, cut, handle the ball a little, I think he would be a good fit playing off of Dunn.

I almost forgot about Jason Terry. Terry is old, but he could probably still contribute, and he would be a good presence in the locker room.

Need someone good for a few highlight plays/game but that doesn't add to the win total.

Adding to the entertainment value = good
Adding to the win total = bad

We have RoLo for vet presence, that's more than enough. Terry is really old and doesn't fit our time line at all.

Besides Bucks have already said they really can't match anything more than 14-16M range...too far into the tax...that helps us if we really do want him back home!

That's a steal IMO for Anderson...would've loved that over the Lavine deal any day

Alright so how much are they gonna pay Rodney Hood? I'm thinking 3/$36million.

If this is true then go for it. I bet he can play the 3 just fine.

Now that Lavine is back when will the David Nwaba sign and trade happen?

Add in Joe Young and Yogi Ferrell.

Edit: Would love to bring back David Nwaba and sign Pat Connaughton. Make Zach Lavine earn his minutes, that's the only way he will ever develop.

From this list Napier would be a great back up pg,I think they need someone better than Payne or grant. Len is a nice young solid center but only if Lopez gets traded.
