Probably JJ until Fultz shows he can ball

Redick will start. If Smith's defense is able to translate, he may end games by mid-season.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I think If Fultz balls in the pre-season games and puts those jumpers in the bucket, then he has a very good chance of starting because his ability to create and get to the rim gives this team a new dimension imo.

Agreed. We know JJ can do it, but that he probably played too many minutes last year.

Fultz needs to ease himself into the league over the first month or two, and then move into the starting lineup along side Simmons, which will be his long term role.

better hope we get kawhi with that miami pick because Bridges is superior to Smith and it's not even remotely close.

Wait... people were actually expecting Smith to be better than Bridges game 1 of Summer League? :noway:

Didn't know it was possible to not know that Smith was always a 5 year project with a potential higher ceiling long term. These hot takes after Summer League are too much.

It’s amazing how shortsighted and reactionary people are about summer league. One player looks good and people overreact. Another player looks lost and people overreact.

NOBODY should expect Zhaire to be better than Mikal. Hence the additional pick we got in the trade down. Growth of nba prospects is not always linear. We should be evaluating players based on their skills development, and not on their total production in a summer league game.

Smith is going to take time not one seasons worth either his offensive game needs a ton of work. Goal number one should be to get him a 3PT shot and make sure he can utilize his athleticism to finish around the rim.

His ceiling is much higher then Mikal but his floor is much lower. I think Mikal is going to be a good NBA starter day one I'm not sure he'll ever develop into a star though. Smith has that capability he's already an impact defender just got to figure out his J some do like others don't

If he develops a decent J you are looking at a Jimmy Butler. If not maybe a Marcus Smart.

I dont care if Mikal turns into the better player. We did the right bet with the Heat pick and Zhaire’s upside.

For a guy who is billed as athletic as anyone...looked pretty slow to me. I was expecting a lot more. I hope it was just firat game jitters.

Zhaire didn't drop 30 in his first summer league game? We should probably just waive him now.

Smaller and more athletic Jahlil Okafor.

NBA should ban him. Such a disgrace to the name of the sport!

It's not just that, ankle breaker four twenty; Mikal Bridges scored more than 13 points (less than 15), so this trade is immediately a failure and the Sixers are the joke of the league. Woe.
