i wonder if we'll ever know the degree to which westbrook re-signing and paul george "buying in" was influenced by the melo acquisition.

I want to say this on the subject: The public "banishment" of Anthony after the season ended was quite surprising. Especially with how people were saying that George and Anthony were so "tight" and that we was so well liked. Even if he doesn't return: Why "avoid" him like that?

PS: On a recent podcast I listened to (might have been a Thunder Buddies episode), it was said that the Westbrook extension was basically a done deal by July and that the Melo deal had no impact on Westbrook extending...
