Terrible contract for Lavine. For all his athleticism and shooting, he might not ever be a net positive player on the floor + injury concerns.

On the other hand the Nurkic contract is really good. If Doncic blows up we'll be left wondering if we should have picked him and gave the 15 mill / to Nurk.

Apparently Lavine is twice the player Warren is? I guess that’s what a 3pt shot and pedigree will get you... Meanwhile Marcus Smart and Capela will probably be taking the qualifying offer.

I guess Peters will be the other 2-way?
if Milos gets cut they might have some interest, but not sure if I'd cut Shaq for him really, Milos is okay but not a guy that's changing much for you and he is old as ****
If anything I'd cut Daniels probably, or trade Chriss for something, maybe a 2nd
I am not sure Daniels has much value - but just not sure how he fits in either . If the Clippers wanted him for Beverly - may not make sense for the Clippers as Beverly is better or if you cut him, save 5m bucks. But that helps the Suns . I would personally like to see what Shaq and Reed do not the roster so even though I would like Beverly, I want Shaq and Reed ahead of Daniels.
Daniels has value. Shooters are always in demand. I, too, think we need to get Williams back. He can play back up center (which we need) or some pf. Chandler is not worth much on the court these days.
Daniels didn't have much value last year considering we got a 2nd round pick to take him and his small contract. Might have neutral or slight positive value now that he's expiring though.

What does Lavine offer that Jordan Clarkson doesn't?

Imagine adding Doncic, Nurkic, Bridges, Akobo

Over Ayton. I would prefer not.

Hopefully you are right!

Just in general I'd say that the Nurk contract is realy good. I think that a 4y 60 mill contract wouldn't have been an overpay for a player of his caliber, age, etc...

If we are really serious about being a competitive team this year, we really need a composed pg that knows how to run an offence. Healty Teodosic would be great for the team and Ayton.

It’s been pretty clear since the Phoenix media has been shoving this “transformed Knight” stuff at is that he will be the starting PG.

OK...end of this thread...I split the topic with the Booker signing being we were at 100 anyway.
