Who is passing him the ball? We have scorers on the 2nd unit, not passers.

worth noting that last season was probably the best offensive season of Bismack's career. He still has crumbling cinder blocks for hands, but he finishes better than he used to around the basket, was more involved in ORL's offense than he ever was here, and can even hit the mid-range shot when he's open. His FT% was 65% last year, which is pretty good compared to where it's been the rest of his career, and it was the first time he recorded 10+ points per 36. He was legitimately good in a starting role while Vuc was hurt.

Really good move. Biz is loved by Charlotte and the organization; not Steve Clifford. And, he is really a lot better than Moz. I think he splits time with Willy as the backup 2, and really adds depth based on Zeller being injury prone.

This trade is awesome! Definitely a positive going from Mozgov to Biz...he provides a lot of things that we definitely were lacking and I feel like he fits really well with the 2nd unit and what we need defensively/screening/hustle wise. If Biz and Monk can click that is a much better combo than say Monk/Frank or Monk/Willy in my opinion...even thinking about a simple pick and roll Biz is much more mobile and nimble for a rim run than Frank or Willy and I really think this benefits Monk/Lamb/Graham quite a bit. We may be saying goodbye to Frank or Willy soon...I have a feeling the moves are not over this offseason. I like it Mitch!

I really see this trade as a way to get a player that is similar to Dwight Howard but is okay with being a backup and won't be a bad lockerroom guy. The team morale this year is going to be amazing.

Advanced statistics show Biyambo with the better DBPM, but also a worse OBPM. He looks to be bad on offense, but our team does not need him to score at all. All he has to do is catch the wide open alley oops.

Yeah, Dwight and Biyombo are quite similar, except Dwight is better on offense and much worse in the locker room. Regardless, we shouldn't be running the offense through Dwight. Basically we gave up Howard and got two 2nds and Biyombo. Not too bad.

Honestly...that's a pretty solid 13 man team right there. Each player is, at the very least, good/pretty good at what they do. Barring injury, I think we can definitely compete for a reasonable playoff seed (4-6 perhaps) in the LeBron-less East.

I still think we aren't quite done with these offseason transactions though...and if a trade comes, I trust Mitch is shying away from a rebuild at this point, meaning a trade could improve our roster a bit more. Even if this is essentially the roster we're looking at for the upcoming season, I'm definitely more optimistic than I was a month or so ago.

Wow, getting two 2nd round picks takes this from a mostly pointless fan service trade to actually great.

Are the picks Orlando's or some other team's? Second round picks have been flying around so fast lately that I don't have any idea which ones of ours we still own and which ones we've got from other teams.

According to this site: http://www.tankathon.com/full_draft

In 2019, looks like Orlando had their own 2nd round pick they might have given us in this deal, plus Brooklyn's and Washington's.

Also, we owe our own 2nd rounder to Atlanta in 2019 and have OKC's coming in prior to the trade.

Orlando is tanking again this year so 2019 is practically a late 1st.

Why did Orlando want to get rid of Biz so bad?

Has to be Clifford pulling the strings. There is no logical reason for valuing Mozgov more than Biz plus two 2nds. Then again, Orlando's front office and Clifford both have long histories of abandoning logic
