Biyambo was 518 out of 521 in ORPM last year. I do think he was being pushed out in Orlando and that contributed to his bad play. Hopefully, he regains his confidence here playing with some of his buddies once again.

so ~48 in 2019 and ~45 in 2020, not bad? but not as exciting as first suspected. Wow Cliff really doesn't like Biz.

So, now we have traded Dwight and his attitude for Biz, Parker, and 4 second round picks

Stocking up on 2nd rounds is a decent plan when faced with trying to improve this team due to the limited cap space. If we can just hit on 1 out of 4, it's a good return.

Stacking picks also means more chances of moving up in the draft.

Because he is absolutely horrible. Im all for it with the 2nd rounders included, but Biyombo is just a bad basketball player.

This quote on the GB made me giggle. "This is like trash pickup was canceled and you and your neighbor bring back each other's trash bag."

With all our moves included I think we basically netted two extra 2nds. We owe four but have six incoming after this trade.

edit: Two of our outgoing 2nds are from the WHG trade, so Mitch has personally gained four extra 2nds.

Welcome to Bizz City!

Mitch and the second rounders... as I said draft night: ransoming the Clips was a borderline genius move, now getting two second rounders for Mozgov... I like this a lot.

Good luck, guys. You probably got the best player involved in the trade.

Orlando has unfortunately been a **** show since 2012, and Frank Vogel was a complete FRAUD. The collective basketball IQ of our front office and coaches throughout these past few years doesn't break double digits.

Biz can be a beast when he's played correctly — see his series vs Cleveland. We kept feeding him the ball in the post and letting him create or shoot awkward midrange jumpers when he should be a rim runner exclusively.

His intensity and shot blocking were still there for us and I hope he does well back in Charlotte. Biz is a great guy that was loved by most of his teammates.

I've always loved Biz so I like this deal. Biz doesn't have any drama that comes with him and he's well-liked by his teammates. With JB at the helm, maybe he and his staff can utilize Biz despite Biz's offensive limitations.

what an embarrassment. why couldn't we just have kept DH? Or buy him out? Just to take on the lux tax? He would have meant nearly $24 million off the books next summer. How we have 2 years of Bismack at $34 million (I just threw up). I don't want to hear about second round picks. They're not that valuable.

We could trade Kemba at the deadline and make the other team take back Marvin or MKG's contract. We take back expiring deals only. Then we're moving in the direction of having flexibility. Now we have basically none until 2020. Being slightly mediocre every year isn't the path to assembling a good basketball team.

Maybe there's another play that going to make everything come together, but yeah, I'm not feeling these moves. Seems like we would have been better off just buying out Dwight and making a trade for a backup PG (Lin, Beverley, etc...)

if you want to go way way back in time, we have turned Lance Stephenson, Roy Hibbert, and Malachi Richardson for Bismack Biyombo, Jeremy Lamb, Dwayne Bacon, four future 2nd round picks and four different instances of cash considerations. This same series of trades includes a very fun group of names: Matt Barnes, Luke Ridnour, Spencer Hawes, Miles Plumlee, Marco Belinelli, Dwight Howard, Timofey Mozgov, and Julyan Stone.

What a weird series of trades.
