As half a degen, this looks right up my alley!

The show is lit. The main character is a complete degenerate that gets off on the risk higher the stakes, the crazier she gets. The show is fairly ridiculous (a private academy where gambling is allowed on campus? lol) but very entertaining.

This image just leaked ahead of the Dragon Ball Super film's trailer debut at San Diego Comic Con, if this is true then the dude who Goku was squaring off against in the teaser was Broly:

I think this might be legit because of the green aura that the character has around him, Broly used to have that too (and so does Kale, who I assume won't be in this movie).

I'm kind of mixed on this...I mean introducing Broly into the main storyline is kind of cool, but I was kind of looking forward to seeing a new villain. Oh well, whatever. I need my fix, I miss the show badly

Since the author wrote the story for this, this version of Broly has nothing to do with the Broly from the old films (which aren't considered to be apart of the official story).

I'm excited as HELL for this after reading Akira Toriyama's comments about this:

Everyone, are you familiar with Broly? He’s an incredibly strong Saiyan who only appeared in the old anime movies, and I apparently at least drew the designs for him, but I had practically no involvement with the anime at the time, so I had totally forgotten about the story content.

So, about Broly. I hear these days, he’s still very popular not only in Japan, but also overseas. Based on that, my editor suggested we have Broly appear in this next movie. I went ahead and watched the movies from back then, and I felt this could be quite interesting once I got right to work trying my hand at a story that incorporates him into the Dragon Ball Super series. While keeping in mind Broly’s classic image so fondly in the more fascinating Broly.

Naturally you’ll get to see fierce combat, but also, the encounter between Goku, Vegeta and Broly. It also involves the Frieza Force and the history of the Saiyans, which end up having a major connection to everything. The story content turns out to be very large scale and dramatic.

Here comes that almighty Saiyan, Broly! I’m also including lots of other content all you fans will enjoy, so look forward to it, and be patient a while longer for it all to come together!

This sounds really good and its going to once again expand the story big time and the Broly we get here will be basically an all new character, so I'm good with this.

I am praying that Funimation/Sony releases this in the USA nation wide in January. I don't care if its dubbed i just want to see this in a movie theater. The beatings will be off the charts "KAKAROOOOTOOOOOO!!!!"

SSJ4 isn't really a Toriyama thing though. I do however don't put it past Toriyama to make use of the tail/giant ape transformation.

I think we'll be seeing something new here.

I also don't think we'll be seeing Ultra Instinct Goku. After Jiren, its hard to fathom seeing Goku pushed to that kind of limit but Broly is a whole other monster so you just never know. I have a feeling we're probably going to be surprised by what happens regardless. Wouldn't shock me if we were left on a cliff hanger or Broly somehow survives. I'm pretty sure the ending will set the stage for Dragon Ball Super 2 series (or whatever they decide to call it). I just hope that this is the last story that takes place in between the time of Majin Buu's death and the end of Dragon Ball Z. I want to see what happens with Goku and Uub.
