For the first time in league history all 30 teams will participate. With every team participating, the event will expand to 82 games in 12 days. Teams will compete in a tournament style schedule in three preliminary games before seeding in a tournament; each team will play at least five games and as many as eight games. The event will conclude with the 2018 NBA Summer League Championship game on July 17.

There's still games today and tonight so probably tomorrow they'll have the seeding done and put out the playoff schedule.

Trae Young with 6 threes in 21 minutes.

It's almost like tiny summer league sample sizes shouldn't be taken too seriously, in a positive or negative way.

for those who have not watch the ORL-PHO game, they did interview Hammond

He taled about the lineup and AG/Ji, he said that AG and JI are forward and nowdays you r what u can guard, he said that he has no doubt in his mind that JI can defend SF in this league

So the future lineup will be

PG
SG
F JI
F AG
C Mo

I m thing Fournier is perfect for the SG spot with those 3 guys but we ll see what happen

The future is very bright

It all comes back to defense with them. Did he mention whether he thought either of them could score from the SF?

I like how people are so quick to knock him when he has bad games but literally nobody is talking about his 7 three pointers

I could be wrong here, but according to the box score he shot 0/6 from 2 and 7/13 from 3?

So I was listening to Philip Rossman-Reichs podcast today and he suggested that it's more likely than not that Bamba and Isaac won't play again. I really hope that's not the case. Clifford said that they would play as much as they could, so hopefully, that means past the preliminary games as well.

I think we may have singed Caupain to a two-way contract. If you go on Bambas Instagram story he posted about it.

Edit: Here is Caupain confirming it:

Glad to see he is getting the two-way contract. You can tell he's been working hard and I feel like out of all the G-League and Summer League guys, he deserves it the most. He played well last year for Lakeland and outside of last nights game, he's done well in Summer League, so I'm happy for him.

We need scoring very badly and he may provide it cheap for the short term at least.
