mets top pick jarred kelenic is hitting .463 with 5 xbh and 1.192 ops
mets top ifa signing ronny mauricio is hitting .373 with 8 xbh and .902 ops
ronny is also 6'4" and age 17, so he's not done growing. these numbers mean nothing, they're years away(hopefully not tho) but you always want the top players a team invests to put up numbers.
In low A ball?
yes, for a 17 and 18 year old?
i know you're used to back in the old days where ww2/vietnam was players minor league seasoning.

Sure I want him to be promoted one day. But according to you we should promote every yute who can hit in A ball.
Personally, I think that Rosario was promoted too soon.
You wanted to promote Peter Alonso straight from AA ball because it was a better league than AAA and he was so good.
Now he's hitting .171 at Las Vegas. Sad!

Btw, I've been reading that we don't even know if we'll be sellers or not.

How about deGrom for Frazier, Andujar and Sonny Gray?

the problem is the mets live in purgatory...this is the most important deadline in years and we have a 3 headed unknown GM's making possible moves when they might have no future with the organization...
does anyone trust ricco/jp/minaya to make good decisions for the future?

I have/had more faith in Omar than I ever did Sandy.

Omar has a good eye for talent but he's basically running the minor leagues. Ricco and JR are the two major league guys right now with input from Minaya in terms of minor league talent. But my point still remains. The guys making the decisions currently might not have a future in a few months with the organization...that is always scary.
