LAC will give you your pick of Beverley or Teodosic if you take Gallinari’s contract. After all the Clippers have to open up playing time for SGA.

Why in the world would Orlando eat over 40m of bad salary for Beverley or Teodosic?

If all Cleveland really wants for George Hill is smaller expirings, Vucevic alone *almost* gets you there. They wouldn't want Ross but if you have something smaller that could work.

Meh. Most of us want nothing to do with Schroeder.

I would however trade Mosgov and a SRP for him.

Schroeder is owed 46.5m

Mosgov is owed 32m

Atlanta gets out of Schroeder's deal a year early and saves 14.5m, sequentially giving Young free reign from day one and get's a SRP out of it.

I'm not a fan of Schroder as our PG, it's been proposed in more than a few threads. I think the shooting on our team is iffy enough that we need a much better shooter at PG especially in a scenario like this where we're trading one of our few decent 3pt shooters in Ross. So with those misgivings I'd rather just let Ross and Vuc expire and take the cap space.

expiring mostly returns longer bad deals...if you need shooting from pg spot just sign IT

I still really want to trade for Dinwiddie, but Brooklyn has no use for our expirings.

Well personally, I'm not interested in taking a bad deal that lasts past the 2019-2020 season, when Mozgov and Augustin's contracts expire, unless I felt there was a legit change that they could turn it around with a change in teams. Considering my concern about fit with Schroder I don't see that being the case and I'd rather let Vuc and Ross expire and pocket the cap space. Now if someone wants to set themselves up for cap space next offseason and want to offer us incentive to take on a contract they want to offload that expires in 2020 than I'm all ears.

Teague's the only option I see if you're not interested in Schroeder.

Any interest in Burke/Mudiay and Lee for Ross? Burke had a pretty good showing when he got PT.

I was thinking Teague for Vuc+DJ, but is Teague even a better shooter? Scorer, yes, but shooter not so sure.

Neither moves the needle for us, we need a “starting” PG not a player that will play behind Augustine.

No worries. Was just throwing that out there is all. PGs available for that salary are probably point guards Orlando wouldn't want to acquire.

Edit: Perhaps Miami would be willing to drop Dragic?

I agree, but Teague is a better scorer and had double the assists last season. I don't like it for the price though. Besides, DJ knows his role.
