And this is why I said Duke's measurements are usually off. Zion is listed at 6'7 and 285 pounds.

Yeah. I don't see how that is even possible. You'd think they'd fudge the numbers to make him come in at less weight, not more weight.

I been critical of Zion's weight but being 15 away from 300 lbs is laughable lol I have a hard time believing he's that big.

He actually looks pretty lean for him, since he has been on Duke's campus. I think he's closer to 255 than 285.

250-206 seems about right, how do you even come up with 285 though? Is that literally what he weighed in at?

http://www.espn.com/nba/insider/story/_/id/20962692/scouting-best-2019-nba-draft-prospects-usa-basketball-juniors-camp
"Williamson measured just 6-5 barefoot, with a 6-10½ wingspan and a 8-7 standing reach. While he has the height of a small forward, his massive 272 pound frame is clearly best suited for the center position and will have to be toned significantly if he's to maximize his potential, as he currently looks heavy and out of shape."

Recently at the Duke combine, he maxed out a 12" vertec and they had to put the tester on top of 2 25lb plates which adds 3 1/2" or so. He came within about 1 1/2" from the top so he has about a 12' 2" vertical touch. Subtract his 8' 7" standing reach and he has about a 43 inch max vertical.

43" vert is impressive even for a small guard..at 6'6 270lbs is just straight ridiculous. Phenomenal athlete.

272 pounds? There's gotta be NFL scouts following this kid around like stalkers trying to get him to switch to play tight end.

TE? More like DE.

He's 14 pounds heavier than Gronk was at the combine, and has a vertical almost a foot higher, I'd much rather see him at TE. Just throw it up there and let him go get it, he's like a tank that can also hover.

He is without a doubt one of the most freakish athletes we have seen in a very long time. That size and bulk and that explosion just isn't right. Hopefully his body can hold up.

Getting Charles Barkley vibes from him, Chuck was nearly 300 pounds when he came into the league and was incredible in the open court.

Lol...6-6 275 is literally the prototype for an end. Look the measurements for guys like Watt, Clowney and Garrett.

He doesn't look as comically muscular as Watt who is a lot more top heavy, he's more like Clowney but imagine that much athleticism at TE with that much verticality. He's bigger and more athletic than Gronk, Kelce, Graham etc.

I'm not saying he cant be TE. I'm saying he'd be tried at DE first, which is an infinitely more important position. Theres a reason Watt converted from TE to DE.

Also the muscle thing is a non point. Go look at a pic of Watt when he was 17 like Zion is now.

They should invite him to the NFL combine.

Ya high school Watt isnt the most intimidating guy. Ya here is the crazy thing, Jadeveon Clowney at 21 years old was 6'5" 266 pounds. Zion just turned 18 and is 6'6 and 272 pounds. Can you imagine this dude in 3 years if he was put on a DE weight training program.

He'd be a monster. Would be #1 recruit at DE with those measurables.

That said, BB is 100 times better for him.
