ugh. Why does Orlando take on 2 years of Henson and Delly? not seeing enough compensation for Orlando

why should then Milwaukee trade the best player in the deal?
Surely not for Bledsoe+Henson for Vuc+Ross

more than happy for Orlando to walk away with $23mil of cap space for next summer, than take on those deals.

If the Clippers miss out on Kawhi and decide to tank and prime for 2019, what about this deal?

Beverley/Lou Williams for Ross/‘19 First (Top 3 Protected)

Magic are better off holding onto Vuc and Ross than making a trade for anything I've seen in this thread. The cap space alone would be more beneficial than taking on negative assets for stop gap PGs.

I don't mind Lin for Ross, but at this point might as well ride out Augustine and Grant since the team will be bad anyway.

no. Orlando isnt in position to be giving away 1st round picks, especially for 2 players over 30.

That is some extreme gouging by the Clippers.

Really? A first team all defense PG and a 20 PPG 6th man of the year both on excellent contracts isn’t that bad.

If it was a top 15 protected pick it would make sense, but a top 3? That would be a disaster for the Magic if we end up with a pick4-14

They already have Augustin as the old veteran PG. The core of the roster is so young that it makes no sense to burn a first round pick for another old PG.

At this point, the players have more values as expiring contracts. You're going to get one of two offers, either one where they take in long-term salary for asset(s) or swapping expiring contracts for better fits.

Goran is 32 yrs old my guy, while still effective Orlando has no reason trading for him and Miami has no reason in not shopping him.

Because he's still good, and better than Vuc or Ross? If he's too old, I assume Orlando wouldn't have interest. But 32 isn't old.

Lowry, Hill, Horford, Chris Paul, Millsap, Ariza, Redick Iggy, both Gasols, Korver,Anu, Dirk are all as old or older. Orlando's current starter is a year younger and far worse.

And Dragic has at most two years left, he's almost assured to be very productive throughout this contract.

Again, not worth trading for and giving any substantial assets for. He simply doesn’t fit our timeline. I wouldn’t want Orlando to trade for any of the players you mentioned above. Us not signing IT is a perfect example of what I mean.

Nothing against Dragic, but his best days are surely behind him.

I didn't see assets anywhere.

I'm.guessing Augustin does fit the timeline though?

No, which is the whole reason why this thread was created. Perfect veteran backup sure, but obviously not part of the future.

Agree on dj. But no assets are being offered for a borderline all star PG.

they are and are playing. But not one is targeting them right now as a primary player. (except for CP3 and Houston and they will regret that deal).

please understand, im not saying Dragic wouldnt be productive for 2 years, but 32 is getting old for NBA player. 32 is past their prime
