There's no reason the Cavs wouldn't jump at that offer. This is either inaccurate or incomplete.

Yeah, I spent more time researching these kids this year than even following our big league team. I'm pretty fund of more than a few and look forward to seeing how ALL of them do in the league FT.
Miles Bridges, Khyri Thomas and Bruce Brown in particular are underrated upperclassmen that could outplay their draft position.
Outside of Doncic, Bagley is the guy that I paid the most attention to. I know he scored a bunch, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that he would pan out like Horford - a solid guy that works hard on both ends, but not a guy that can take over a game. Being on our radar his offensive polish had me concerned. I'll continue keeping up with him during the season.
The other guy I'm keeping up with is Porter Jr. It's crazy to think that he actually fell all the way to 14 and the reasoning, while understandable, leaves the door open for a huge steal. Teams just really didn't want to gamble a high pick on his medical concerns. I really felt like we should have found a way to move up and get him.

I'm right there with you. I'd have taken that gamble big time.
Especially since we were rumored to already be in talks to grab #13 from LAC before the draft.

Bagley and Porter both seem like guys who dominated opponents physically. Although Bagley did it at a much higher level. It'll be interesting to see if Bagley can develop a game outside of dunks and rebounds. I've only seen a little bit of Porter but beyond his health my concern would be that he seems like he'd rather pull up for a 3 than play inside.

Re: Absurdly early 2018 NBA Draft Thread
This dude was too raw and unproven for a 1st round selection, but I wish we'd given him more consideration at #34.
He'll have a role in this league just due to athleticism, rebounding and shot blocking. Getting that on a 2nd round selection would be a worthy investment.
According to Real GM, Robinson’s 4 blocks per game are the most in summer league history. Lakers -- SB Nation

1. Noted.
2. It sounds like you've been to more boards than I have!!!
Nothing wrong with that...just make sure you rep the Hawks fandom well. In the past, some of our other posters have gone to rival team boards and acted a d@mn fool.

Ya I went over a few times and acted dickless. Then thought, what if some dip$hit like myself comes over with that on the Hawks board...we would fry them. So I’m not going anymore. I’m staying right here..where everybody knows ur name..(and most often glad you came..)
