Mafia Mills got at Kyle

Knicks president Steve Mills made contact with Kyle O’Quinn regarding his remark that he left for Indiana because he “wanted to play for more than next year’s draft.” O’Quinn told Mills it came out wrong, according to a source.

U know how sometimes they say guards always tryna jump too much is a bad thing. I don’t think that’s a problem for Mitch unless Hicks step under him (Hicks was a super fat hater today)

• You can tell they missed Frank's experience and Defense.

• Knox looked tired but against that ELITE Boston Defense, he STILL managed to put up 14 points!

• Mitchell ripped that Boston Frontcourt to SHREDS!!!
:o :droop:

Agree on everything, but 14 points on 20 shots is horrid.

Yeah, definitely. Quite a few were good looks with good rotation/arc, they just didn't fall. Also, they're Defense is tough and he got hit on A LOT of attempts.

It's actually promising IMO that an Elite team like Boston actually game planned to shut down Knox and he was STILL able to hit double figures! :dontknow:

For those down on Knox. How about that fact that he is a 6'9" - 6'10" forward who is an excellent FT shooter already at only 18.

3-4 from the line today.

Well, we know one thing - our kids can jump out of the building. The Knicks drafted some top 1% athletecism type guys.

Why did Robinson drop to us? Mobile bigs that can guard on the perimeter and be elite at rim protecting are championship caliber players.

We saw what Knox would look like if he was scouted. Play him tough on the perimeter and challenge him at the rim with a secondary defender and he'll only have tough layups. He definitely had a tough time in down low. What I like is that he still had his jumpshot to go to.

They should have ran him off some curls for some mid- and short-range shots.

Robinson's cuts to the rim were Amar'e-esque. If the Knicks had an elite ballhandler, they would be in the playoffs.

Why does Hicks have a 2 way deal? There are so many other players more deserving in summer league. SMH.

Also, Ojeleye is a legit defender. I'm not surprised Knox struggled against him at all

Efficiency isn't something to really focus on in SL especially when we know how young the kid is and that he still has ways to go to improve his game. The biggest worry about him before the draft was his motor and lack of aggressiveness and the fact that he's been extremely active so far and very aggressive attacking and looking to score is a great sign. He took 20 shots! I think that's fantastic. I'll take that any day over him being completely invisible on the court and looking disengaged.

Don't think staff cares about the wins and losses.
It's about maintaining health and finding the positives in our core guys heading into training camp and such.

Wait for it. He can shoot too. There are reasons he fell that far but none make sense to me. It's a small miracle.

I'm sorry to say but Kyrie would fit like a glove to a potential lineup.

Kyrie
Frank
Knox
KP
Mitch

Dear lord the future would be bright.

Knox have two months to get stronger and work on his shooting. Mitchell needs to play this year as a back up to Kanter 15-20 Minutes no exception. Knox look like someone who can score and will score as the year go. Mitchell tho man he can be a beast.

If I had to guess, we won't see Knox, Mitch, or Frank tomorrow.
