This game's personal +/-, my own devised stat.

Knox -20
Kornet -5
Robinson +18
Dotson -6
Trier +11

Knox was hurt by his TOs and poor shooting. For him to be a plus player and shoot as much as he has he needs to contribute more than just scoring and then also score more efficiently.

Both Robinson and Trier had more contributions than FGAs and were also helped by efficient shooting. Kornet and Dotson didn't contribute much and didn't score efficiently.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Its inconceivable to me that out of the pool of UDFAs and G-League call ups that Hicks is the best option available. Cant believe it, wont believe it.......idk what the Knicks see in this guy but he's really not worth the 2-way deal he's signed to

I'll be honest with you- he reminds of dotson- he's solid. I think we need to stay away from "solid".
Glad he left even if we could of had him for 3mill on a one year...

He's solid
Solid like a KOQ

Yeah, I hear you. We need to keep upgrading

Mills was breaking up on his cell call with the league office when he tried to say, “Hicks flat out sucks, there’s no two ways about it.”

Hicks reminds me of JR Reid, who actually played quite well for us.

A team that is looking to have a competitive series against the Warriors would want to trade for Mitchell.

He's ours for keeps though.

MRob + KP is a must

KP will be the back stop while MRob can free safety the entire court

“When you play with energy, things go well,’’ the 20-year-old Robinson said afterward. “When you work hard, it’s not that hard to do. You got to focus and play hard. That’s it.”

“He’s got elite quickness off his feet, but the question is: Does it get negated when he’s going against 260-pound guys?” one NBA scout said.

If Irving is mulling the Knicks as a 2019 free agent, which sources say he is, then he had to like what he saw in the super athletic Robinson, as he sat next to Jaylen Brown.

Presumably on hand to watch his Celtics, Irving saw his teammate, forward Semi Ojeleye, give Knox a rough time at UNLV as Boston posted the victory. Ojeleye is considered among the up-and-coming young defenders.

Coming off a 29-point explosion versus the Lakers, Knox looked stiff, perhaps with tired legs in his 35 minutes. Knox’s jumper was wobbly, and he rarely got to the basket as he finished with 15 points on 5-of-20 shooting, and committed four turnovers.

Mitchell made up for it with his active play. He also limited his fouls to one after totaling 18 in the first three games. In the loser’s bracket, the Knicks finish up in consolation play Friday against an undetermined opponent.

“It’s playoff time you get six fouls, you’re out,’’ Robinson said. “I just got to wait for the ball to leave someone’s hand and go get it.”

Though occasionally he finds himself out of position, Mitchell makes up for it with lateral quickness and an instinctive nose for the ball.

“I was pretty happy with my defense,’’ Mitchell said. “They set a lot of screens and you have to get through that and get back to my man.’’

A man of few words, Mitchell, who is averaging 4.1 blocks per game, likes to keep it simple. Asked what makes him a good shot-blocker, Mitchell said, “You know the player either has to shoot it or pass it.’’

After dropping out of Western Kentucky, as the story goes, he spent every day training for the NBA, even having a session with Pelicans center Anthony Davis.

“Was an everyday thing,’’ Mitchell said. “No days off. Only days off was Sunday. That’s church day, but we just grinded every day. I picked [Davis’] brain. He’s been in the league for a while now, showed me a lot of things, ins and outs.”

Robinson signed his contract over the weekend. The Post reported it was a four-year package for $6.4 million with team options after the second and third years. It looks like the Knicks won’t have a tough decision.

That's like picking dog dung over cow dung. Doesn't matter.

Mitchell, though, is great and he doesn’t even really know how to play yet.

This guy is looking like a steal. Just needs to be developed nicely.

At least Dotson showed flashes of being a competent 3&D role player last season. Baker has yet to do so.

Dudes who were calling him slow, or dumb must feel mad stupid. He is actually pretty smart and is getting more and more comfortable with each interview.

Would have loved to see how many of the guys here would have interviewed at 17-19 years old when most of those interviews people were making fun of and cringing about were recorded.

This kid is actually a pretty high IQ player from what he has shown instinctively, without much high level coaching and taking 14 months away from competitive games.

I love Mitchell and I already praised him the day we drafted him but there is no way I am calling the dude smart. Not in any lifetime.

However, he is smart on the basketball court from all evidence I've seen and that's all I care about. Dude could be Forrest Grump for all I care. As long as he knows how to play on the court and dominate effortlessly as he seems to be doing now then it's all good. The sky is the limit for Robinson.

One thing I notice about Robinson, besides his excellent defensive presence, is how effortless he looks dunking the ball.

Dude makes it look like he's dunking a tennis ball on little kids. It just doesn't even look remotely hard. He is an athletic specimen. Bless him. Keep him playing smart and healthy, that's all I ask.
