Considering what Exum got, I would now pay out Schroeder's contract. I would have balked earlier in the process, but yeah, I'd take it today. He's still not my favorite of potentially available pg's. My order would be Kemba, Smart, and then Schroeder. I don't see much else out there at the moment.

I think there no chance that Weltman will trade for flawed offensively, character problem pg on a bad contract. Schroeder wont help us win championships. That would be true mediocrity, low upside move.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

It's getting late in the evening, bar is about to close. Its time to go for that fat girl sitting alone at the bar, because everyone else is gone. You're right, it might be best to go home alone. You may be better off in the morning, but tonight you just want to dance! Go get another drink and take one for the team. I agree though, there may still be a prettier one around, but we better decide soon. I consider what we have right now as a rotation as Rosey Palm back home, and it's not like we haven't done that before, lol.

+1 wasn't enough to show how much I agree. Tried of this 3rd tier crap...make a bold move already! Sell some tickets.

I would rather go home, sleep and arrive at the next party early to have the first choice. Maybe some other more mature but still extremely hot chick will want to have a threesome with us.

Okay, okay, but if you keep having sex alone, then at some point you have to acknowledge your lack of success. Boy, that metaphor got strangled to death.

I would probably do Schroder for Mozgov straight up because of the sheer talent upgrade, but I really don't think the Magic would consider it until next summer at the earliest.
If you trade for Schroder right now at his salary, that pretty much locks him in as your PG of the present and all but eliminates the ability to go after other PGs next offseason be it Walker, Rozier, Rubio, whoever else might be available via trade.

Agree. I would rather wait on next year or even try and trade for Kemba at the deadline if somehow the team is in contention.
Our PG rotation sucks. There is no doubt about that. Nothing about it appeals to me in any way, outside of the fact that DJ can keep the floor stretched. He shot extremely well from 3 last year and we need that again.
I just think the FO knows this team is not ready yet. Isaac and Bamba are not going to play like vets until they actually are vets, and that won’t be until next year at earliest. This is why Hammond kept saying that they want guys who will contribute 2 years from now. A guy like Kemba or Rozier will do that for us. Schroeder will probably be a guy we want to unload after 1-2 years.
Settling for Schroeder is the exact type of mistake that the old regime would have made, but I do think it would make the team much more fun to watch. I think if you watch this season for the growth of Isaac and Bamba and to see if AG can develop serious offense, it will be entertaining. If you expect much more than that, you will probably be upset.

I'll be watching NCAA a lot more closely this season, for our new PG may rise somewhere.
