During the trade deadline I remember Bucks fans telling me that the Bucks were not going to lose Parker for nothing. Poor guys.

Am I weird for thinking that this is one of the best deals of the off season?
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Doesn't a player have to be on a team for 3 years in order to have bird rights? I'm surprised at the 2 year length.
Give me a Tommy Point!

They wouldn’t have matching rights no matter what...
And 20 million sets a high enough cap hold for anything Jabari is going to get in two years, right?
Assuming the first two years are fully guaranteed, Chicago should have pushed for a third year team option though..
He’s either a bad contract through a rebuild or he’s a key piece that accelerates it. I like it.

I think it’s top 3 along with Boogie and Randle.
Honorable mentions- Isaiah Thomas, Aaron Gordon, Dwight Howard and Brook Lopez.
Honestly there were a lot of good deals this off season.

2 years gets early bird rights. Which would allow the bulls to offer 175% (if I have the % right) of his previous contract (if over the cap). Which is something like 32Mish per year. So if jabari balls out into an all star level player theyd still be able to negotiate over the cap to resign him.
Its a fantastic contract for the bulls and their current situation.
