Lakers clowning the Pistons so far. Pistons have won last few summer league games with good defense, not offense.

Today, the offense has regressed more as Drew and Thomas went down. Speedy Smith bring no offense and I think he has air balled more threes than he has hit the rim. He also does not set up anything, but plays because of his defense .

I still wish we would of taken Diop ( More polished and more position of need) with our 42 pick, but I give Brown credit for always playing hard. He has had his moments but I think he has only shot over 50% in one game. He plays hard on both ends but offensively he had a lot of work to do to play at the NBA level. Also out of control at times. His work ethic is the only thing that makes me believe he may get some playing time in the future on the 2nd string but I think he will mainly be a DNP most nights.

Henry making a living a FT line today as his game as morphed more inside over the last two games. 4-13 from field towards end of 3rd quarter. He likely gets a chance with 2nd unit, unless Pistons make a move, just based on bodies. Don't see him making much of an impact but Pistons seem determined to give him a chance. This summer league has not given anyone any more hope of what Henry is or can become. He looked better last summer.

Lofton - you can make a case he has looked as good overall as the other second round picks. He has not gotten the minutes until Thomas went down, but probably because Pistons 2nd round assets played the same position. He flashed in the earlier games but did not get many minutes as mentioned. Seems like he can get his own shot as well as Brown, if not better. Outside shot looked good but also raw overall offensive game( and needs to improve decision making some) Showed more athletic than our 2nd round picks.. He should get strong consideration for our 2nd 2-way contract

Kind of what I expected the way the "tournament" scheduled out. Tired and depleted, and mostly irrelevant anyway.

Lofton is 25yrs old and went to five schools in five years. I'd be okay with having him an affiliate player, but no way do I give him a 20way contract.

Hearn is still under the2-way as well, gotta pull it from him as well. Hopefully we've been scouting other teams during this tourney and have sights on a big we want to sign.
